A/N: For clarification, the last chapter showed a little bit of insecurity with herself. Again Yui doesn't care what other people think about her, however, she is a bit concerned about how Izuku thinks about her and this will be expanded upon, but another conflict arises in today's chapter...

the day was Monday and currently, Izuku was in his 4th period, however, Izuku's mind was not on the assignments or the subjects that were being discussed. His mind still thought about Yui's smile.
Not once, in his life had she ever seen Yui smile, and seeing her smile, it hurt him. Not because he didn't want to see her smile or even slowly show her happiness through expressions, but because he knew what was really behind that smile.
Pain.
It was the same smile he used to wear on his face back in middle school and Yui would always call him out for it, and ask what was wrong, he would be able to feel safe and express how he felt, but what was she going through that could cause her to hide behind a smile of pain? Izuku wished he knew, he wanted to speak with her at lunch as Lunch would be coming soon, and after that, he and the rest of the class would be heading to someplace with Aizawa-Sensei. Finally, the bell rang and Izuku perked up and quickly got up from his desk and rushed out of the class to find Yui and talk to her. For Izuku, it really scared him when he saw Yui had that smile. He had always believed that Yui was the strongest person he knew in terms of emotion. When they first became friends, Izuku was scared that Yui might find him boring, however, after a certain event that the two had a week into their friendship, Izuku knew that Yui had actually cared about him, that she was actually his friend, and from that day on, he knew Yui would always have his back...

Yui was currently sitting outside with her friends, Reiko and Kinoko. Reiko wore a blank expression on her face like Yui, but the difference was that Reiko actually could express other emotions, she was just tired a lot because she stayed up late at night watching horror movies. Kinoko was the shortest in their class and was a very confidant girl, yet she tended to act like she was in a Shakespearian play.
"So Yui... what's been going on with you and Izuku today?" Reiko asked
Yui looked at her with a blank expression, "What do you mean?" She asked
"Oh come on Yui, it's clear that something happened with you two, did you two have your first fight?" Kinoko asked with a smile
A small blush came to Yui's face, but she then turned to Kinoko, "Again, we aren't like that" She told him
"then what happened?" Reiko asked "I've seen him worried today in 2nd period and he seemed more worried when you passed by the class during 3rd period," Reiko said
At this point, Yui really hated that Reiko was so good at sensing when things were going on. The ghost girl could always tell when something was going on with someone, both physically and emotionally. However, Yui sighed, she knew that Reiko and mostly Kinoko weren't going to let this go, so she did the logical thing and talked to them.
Yui took a deep breath in and then let it out slowly before during to her friends, "Do you ever feel like you haven't really contributed something to a friendship?" Yui asked
The two looked at her and nodded
"I once felt like I never really knew a friend in middle school and felt bad that I also didn't hang around with them a lot," Kinoko said
