Chapter 6: POWER!!!

The pain in his finger was still present from his fight with Shinsou. Izuku really did wish that Shinsou would become a Hero.

The Sports Festival was truly testing everyone. Izuku managed to win the race against everyone, and with the help of Tokoyami, he had barely managed to grab enough points for them to continue. The only time he used his quirk was when Shinsou had put him under his control, and that was at 100% so it broke his finger.

'No one knows about full cowling yet, and that's good... the only problem now is Todoroki' Izuku thought

Shoto Todoroki, the son of the No.2 Hero Endeavor was technically the strongest amongst the class, or at least he was by everyone else standards.

"What an amazing fight! Up next on the list, we have Izuku Midoriya against Shoto Todoroki!" Mic cried

'the fight between Kachann and Uraraka's already over!?' Izuku thought

Izuku went to go get ready for his fight against Todoroki, and he needed to come up with a plan quick, or else Todoroki was going to get him out with his ice as he did with Sero.

A knock came at his door and Izuku went to Open it and once he did, he was met with the familiar blake face of his childhood friend.

"Yui! What are-?"

"Your gonna win right?" She asked

Izuku looked at her for a moment but then he smiled at her and nodded, "I will" Izuku said

She smiled softly, "good... now go kick his ass"

Izuku walked out and headed to his part of the entrance to the arena. As he did, he glanced back to Yui and saw her wave at him before walking back to where she and her class was in order to watch his fight. Izuku was no more determined than ever to win, no matter what.

'this is it! time to show everyone how far I've come! Time to show All-Might that I'm worthy of the power! time to Show Keigo and Gran Tarino just how far they brought me! and... Time to show Yui that she doesn't have to worry about me!' Izuku thought, 'This is it!'

"You there... Boy"

Izuku stopped in his track only to see the last person he had expected to see. The No.2 Hero Endeavor!

"Endeavor!" Izuku cried

"I saw your fight against the brainwashing kid, and your power is incredible, and to create wind pressure with just a flick of your fingers... you have a lot in common with All-Might"

Izuku's heart almost stopped, but he quickly kept his cool as he looked at Endeavor, "I never really t-thought about it like that... I should get going" Izuku said as he walked away

"It's my Shoto's duty to surpass All-Might as the Number 1 Hero" Endeavor said

Izuku stopped. 'is he saying that he made Todoroki just to surpass All-Might!?' Izuku asked himself 'Is that why he...'

"Endeavor" Izuku called "I'm not All-Might"

"what are you-?"

"and Todoroki isn't you," Izuku said as he looked back to the hero before walking away.

Izuku looked back at Todoroki's fights, how he acted, and that look on his face. The hate they had in themselves could be seen within their eyes. While it looked the same, it was different, Endeavor had a hatred for All-Might, but Todoroki... he had a Hatred for his own farther and maybe... even his own power...
