Chapter 1: Path To Healing

3rd Person POV:

Taiyang, who's currently asleep in his room as sun shining rays of light creak through his window causing him to wake up.

He opens his eyes and sits up from his bed before letting out a small yawn as he smells something cooking.

Taiyang: (Is that...bacon?)

He suddenly fully wakes up as he realizes that one of the kids are using the oven and could potentially burn the house down.

Taiyang: Oh crap!

He rushes out of the bedroom as he looks into the girls room to see Ruby and Yang are still sleeping peacefully.

Taiyang: (If they're sleeping then who could be...)

Taiyang: Oh crap! Y/N!

He runs downstairs and makes his way into the kitchen.

Taiyang: Y/N!

Y/N: Ah!

She turns off the oven as Tai runs over to her.

Taiyang: Are you okay?!

Y/N: I-I'm fine Mr.Tai.

Taiyang: Why were you using the oven without me?

Y/N: I...I wanted to make everyone breakfast.

He looks to see two pans with perfectly cooked bacon and eggs.

Taiyang: Y-You know how to cook?

Y/N: Mmhm.

Y/N: (voice-breaking) I'm sorry Mr.Tai, I just wanted to repay you all for little me live with you for these past few days.

Y/N: (crying) I'm sorry, please don't throw me out.

Taiyang: Hey...(places a hand on her head) It's okay, I'm really happy that you made this.

Taiyang: I just don't want you to mess with the oven by yourself because I don't want you to get hurt.

Y/N: (crying more) Wah~ I'm sorry, I'm sorry.

Taiyang: (hugging her) Shhh, I really appreciate you doing this for us.

Taiyang: So, you don't have to cry anymore.
