A/N: Short chapter for a peek at what I will be writing next! Let me know what y'all want written, if you've read my writing before, you know I dislike the holidays and update more often because of it. So give me your worst!
Throughout the week Jack Will came over every day and we decided on spending the night together this weekend. It was now Friday and I was gonna go over and come back on Monday, which was our last day being suspended.
Now it was 3 p.m. and I was awaiting my mom getting home. That was my sign I was able to go and I jumped with excitement.
"Auggie!" I heard Mom yell.
"Yeah Mom?!" I yelled back, hurrying to shove some of my nicer clothes in the bottom of my bag and pajamas on top.
"Come down here for a second! I have something for you!" I hurried down the stairs to be met by my mom. "Hey Auggie, I got a letter for you and something right before you read it."
I sat down at the counter, raising my eyebrow. "So?"
Mom smiled and I couldn't help but smile back. She handed me a box that was wrapped in blue wrapping paper and a white bow. I took it, gently and opened it in a hurry, grabbing a knife and carefully cutting it open.
I looked inside and smiled, it was my certificate from the STEM program I had been a part of. I had gone for computer science and finished at the end of summer. "Thank you!" I shouted and jumped up and hugged her, her hugging back.
She slid over a basket with my favorite candies and foods as well, I was so excited knowing what I was aiming for next. "Now that mail," she said, still smiling. She handed me an envelope and I looked at the front, on the front reading the school I had applied for. "I haven't read it yet."
I took in a breath as I heard a knock on the door. Looking at my mom and smiling, "One moment!"
I ran towards the door and opened it to be met with my wonderful boyfriend, "You ready to go?" I shook my head and grabbed his hand, dragging him inside.
"I just got my letter to see if I got into that flight school."
We rushed towards the counter and I picked up the mail, shouting for Via. "Where's Dad?" I asked my mom.
She gave a disappointed look, I knew what was coming. "I understand, just another long night. I want to go anyways."
Via ran down the stairs and I smiled at her, feeling myself get hyped again for the occasion. "I got my letter, I wanted you to be here."
Via sat next to Jack Will and smiled at him as I slowly opened my letter. I opened the letter and unfolded it carefully. I looked through when I reached the line, "Congratulations, we'll see you in the fall!" I shouted and jumped excitedly and felt arms wrap around me. I looked up to see Jack Will and smiled as he reached down and kissed me. I blushed, he kissed me in front of my mom.
"Congratulations Auggie!" Via shouted and reached down to hug me once Jack let go. I felt her pull back and looked at my mom smiling. Her mouth hung slightly agape and my smile left a little.
"What's wrong, Mom?" I asked worried.
"I was just unaware of you and Jack Will being together, I guess it surprised me," she said. I frowned a bit, but she smiled at me. "Congratulations Auggie, now get going. I don't want to cut your boy's weekend short by no means," my Mom told me. I smiled and I put the letter on the counter.
I ran up the stairs and quickly grabbed my bag. "Here, let me help you," Jack said and took my bag, I smiled softly at him and grabbed the small basket of goodies. "Now I'm ready!"
We made our way out the door and I waved and we hurried and got in his car that he had bought himself for senior year. He looked at me and smiled again. "I'm so proud of you Auggie."
Jack Will stroked my face and I giggled. "Your face is pretty Jack Will," I told him.
"W-What?" he asked in surprise.
"You. Are. Pretty," I repeated.
"Thank you, you're not too bad yourself," he said and I felt a blush rise to my cheeks, his cheeks growing red too.
"We're gonna have a lot of fun this weekend!" I announced and turned towards the front window and he laughed.
"You bet, Babe," he replied and started the drive to his house.
