Another Toretto (Fast And Furious x Male Reader)

Prologue Part 1

3rd POV

Year: Circa 1989

It was another day at the Toretto household. Currently, a thirteen year old Dominic Toretto, and his younger ten year old brother, Y/n Toretto, are currently working on the engine of the 1970 Dodge Charger R/T that is currently in their garage that their father uses to participate in the LA Country Raceway, or just drive in general while not on the track. The reason being that they're doing it and not their father is because he's currently in the house.

Dom: "Hey, Y/n."

Y/n: "Yeah?"

Dom: "Can you get me an IMT Valve? The one that's in here currently needs replacing."

Y/n: "Sure."

As Dom is getting the current IMT Valve out and uninstalled from the engine, Y/n goes and looks around the garage to get a new one. Once he finds it, he walks back over to where Dom is and tosses him the replacement while he catches the old one that Dom tossed to him, simultaneously.

Dom: "Thanks Y/n."

Y/n: "No problem, Dom."

Once Dom was finished, Y/n goes over to a motorcycle engine that was on a nearby table and begins to examine it.

Dom: "Hey, Y/n. What you doing over there?"

Y/n: "Just checking if the oil pump is on right. You never know when it could come off."

Dom: "Fair enough. Now, c'mon. It's getting late."

Y/n: "I wouldn't be surprised if dad is reading the next few chapters to help Mia with her homework again."

Dom: "As usual."

Once they exit and close the garage, they go back into their house. The two of them then go into the kitchen to wash their hands. While they walked into the kitchen, they saw their father, once again, reading the next few chapters at the kitchen table. They don't see Mia or Jake anywhere, so they're probably both in bed by now while the two of them stayed up.

Y/n: "See? What did I tell you?"

Dom: "Yeah, well, he would've done the same thing for us."

After they finished cleaning up, they bid their father good night before going upstairs and bidding each other good night as well.

The Next Day

Both Dom and Y/n were walking down the street they lived on. The two of them then stop when they see that a car with its hood up while the car is in the air while being supported by four jack stands, along with a girl underneath it while laying on a simple mechanic scooter board. As the girl from underneath the car rolls out and sits up, the two brothers looked at each and shrugged their shoulders and walked slowly in the girl's direction.

Dom: "Hey, you need help?"

Girl: "No thanks, I'm good."

Y/n: "You sure?"

Girl: "Yeah, I'm sure."

Dom and Y/n looked at each other a bit confused for a second, considering how old the girl looks.

Y/n: "Pardon me for asking, but aren't you a little bit young to be changing the oil of this car?"

Girl: "Yeah? Says the guy with oil stains."

Y/n looks down at himself and notes that he's indeed wearing some clothes with old oil stains on them as he shrugs to himself before he looks back up to the girl.  

Y/n: "Care to introduce yourself?"

Girl: "Name's Leticia Ortiz. But everyone calls me Letty. So, what are you two doing here?"
