"I knew I wore this dress for a reason!" The red head cried, smiling down at the skin tight dress and fluffing her hair.

"I'll go first." She announced confidently, before climbing out.

"Who is that?" Another girl asked.

"I'm Cameron." We heard her say to Niall.

"Apparently that is Cameron." I said, making a few girls giggle.

"Who's next?" Cheryl asked, facing a group of terrfied girls.

"I'll go." I offered, watching Cameron sashay into the building.

What do you think goes on in the head of a nineteen year old girl about to meet Niall Horan?

I was wondering when I could take the bobby pins out of my head.

The driver opened the door, and I swung my legs out before climbing out of the car.

Because I am the epitome of a gorgeous goddess. Yeah, right.

"Hi." I smiled, walking over to Niall.

"Hello there." He said in his Irish accent.

Without thinking, I reached out for a hug. I'm not sure where that came from, I didn't even see Cameron try that. But he opened his arms and pulled me in tightly.

Suddenly, all of my anxiety about the night seemed to disappear.

"Please tell me you aren't going to offer me a strip tease?" He whispered, pulling back.

"What?" I asked, genuinely concerned.

Hell, I'm a virgin.

"She just did." He said, and my face must have made him laugh.

I heard Cheryl cough and figured my minute was up, so I said goodbye.

"Wait, what's your name?" He asked as I started to walk inside.

"Mae." I smiled.

"My favorite month." He teased before I continued to walk into the house.

The only thing weirder than walking toward Niall Horan, was walking into a room where you know the only other person recently offered Niall Horan a strip tease.

Luckily, she was more concerned about her nail beds than she was about me being in the room.

As the room started to fill up, I decided I needed some air.

I excused myself from the group I was talking to, and walked toward the door to the patio.

I was relieved to find no one outside, and sat down on one of the benches. Without hesitation I pulled my heels off and placed my feet on the end of the bench.

"Oh I am so so- hey! It's you!" I turned and saw the girl from the boutique, who was wearing a gorgeous kelly green dress.

"You look amazing!" I said, moving my feet to make room for her.

"I knew you would look good in that." She said, sitting down next to me.

"I'm sorry I didn't get your name earlier." I said.

"Blair." She said with a smiling, reaching her hand out.

"Mae." I said, grabbing her hand for a hand shake.

"Like the month!" She said.

"Niall said that too." I chuckled.

"How was that?" She asked.

"You know, way less awkward than I initially thought when I saw him." I said, shaking my head.

"Good for you. I almost forgot my name!" She groaned and tipped her head back.

"I'm sure it wasn't that bad." I laughed.

"It was. Hey, if we both make it we should room together." She said.

"Girls, everyone is here. Niall is on his way in." A man with a camera said.

I followed Blair inside and we stood toward the back of the group. Niall made eye contact with me and smiled.

"Welcome! I am sure you did not expect someone from One Direction to be waiting outside that limo." He said with a laugh.

"I just want to thank you all for coming on this adventure, and I truly believe I will meet some amazing people. Now I am going to try to meet with as many of you as I can before tonight's rose ceremony. Wish me luck." He chuckled, looking a bit overwhelmed.

Everyone cheered, and went back to talking to eachother. I noticed that everyone was watching Niall out of the corner of their eyes.

"What did you mean, 'rooming together'?" I asked Blair.

"Martin, the exec in my limo, told us there are double rooms. Except Niall obviously. He doesn't live here." She explained.

"Yeah, I definitely say we room together. Where is our stuff?" I asked, grabbing a chip from a bowl.

"They won't bring it in till we know we're staying." She shrugged.

Thanks for all the information, Cheryl.

"So why are you here?" She asked, and I took a sip of the water I was now holding.

"My mom wanted me to have an adventure." I laughed at how ridiculous that sounded.

"She could have just sent you back packing in Nepal." She said, laughing.

"Yeah my dad and brother said the same thing when they found out that this was The Bachelor." I laughed with her.

"Blair?" An Irish voice said, and we both spun around.

"Hi." She squeaked.

"Can I talk to you?" He asked, and led her out to the patio.

I leaned against the wall, trying to feel my feet, when they announced the rose ceremony.

On the television, rose ceremonies look glamorous and exciting.

That is not what actually happens, as I am sure you can imagine.

We were brought into the rose room and set up on steps. This means setting us up, moving people, studying the layout, re setting us up, moving us, checking the layout, offering up animal sacrafices.

I'm just kidding, but that might make it more entertaining.

On top of that, there has to be room for the camera crew. But not so that they are easily seen on the television.

Finally, we were all ready. I could see Blair across the room and she looked nervous. I wanted to be able to hug her and tell her that she was totally fine.

Why wasn't I that nervous? Especially since I didn't get to talk to Niall once tonight.

"Hello everyone." Niall said, walking into the room. Instantly the tension increased.

"I have 15 roses in front of me, and 30 gorgeous women." He said.

He picked up the first rose and looked at it for a moment.

"Olivia." He said, and a blonde girl's face lit up as she walked toward Niall.

He continued down his list, calling Blair forward. But I still hadn't been called.

He had two roses left, and girls were beginning to look terrified.

"Faith." He said, and a girl with short, dark hair walked forward.

"And the last rose."

Short lived adventure Mom, sorry.

"Mae." My head shot up.

Did he just say my name?

I walked down the steps, past crying girls, and he opened his arms for a hug.

"Didn't think you'd get rid of me that easy, did you?" He whispered and I laughed.
