His Answer

Chapter Eleven

Right after we won overall on the Sports fest, we had another event coming up and I'm so excited about it!

"Ok. class take your seats." Ms. Antonnette arrived.

We went to our designated seats and Ms. Antonnette made an announcment.

"Students... Congratulations on winning the Sports Fest, me and the other teachers are really proud of each and every one of you!." She congratulated all of us from Class B.

All of us stood up and bowed to our adviser saying, "yes, thank you!"

After that, classes started and went on and it really felt like forever. I was getting hungry while Elric was just paying attention in class. Hours later... it was time for recess! I quickly stood up from my chair, grabbed Elric by the arm and dragged him to tag along.

When we were done eating, we headed back to the classroom and seeing that all of my classmates were talking about something so I asked.

"Hey, what's all the fuss about?"

"Didn't you hear? They say that we are gonna have a field trip" a female classmate retorted.

"Really!?" my eyes gleamed with happiness.

"Yes really, and they say that it will be for 3 days and 2 nights! Eeek!" my female cassmate added.

As we chatted and  got excited for the upcoming event, our subject teacher arrived and all of us went back to our designated seats. Classes started and so on.

When classes were finally done, Ms. Antonnette came inside the classroom and gave another announcement.

"Class, we will have a field trip to Highsprings. Assembly time will be 8:00 AM in the morning, see you tomorrow."

"That's all, dismissed."

We went home and started to pack our luggage for tomorrows field trip.

Me and Elric just arrive on the scene and there were a lot of students lined up to get on their assigned buses. The class president noticed us standing by  and she called out to us.

"Over here!" waving her right arm.

We then noticed and got on the bus along with the rest of my classmates. Our bus took off following all the other buses. While inside the bus, me and Elric sat next to each other and I noticed that Elric was nodding off.

"Are you sleepy Elric?" I asked.

"Yeah, cause' I slept pretty late..." he yawned.

"You can rest your head on my shoulder if you want." I suggested.

"Thanks." he leaned on my shoulder.

Sh*t what do I do!? My heart's beating so fast, I bet Elric can hear it... Aghhh!!

I looked to my right and accidentally kissed his head... I quickly turned away in case he felt it. I glanced back again but he was sleeping soundly. A sigh of relief escaped me.

After a couple hours... The bus stopped and we took a break and had lunch at a family restaurant. After the quick lunch we continued on with our field trip. EVentually, we had arrived at the Highsprings and let me tell you... The scenery was breathtakingly amazing.

I was so excited that I couldn't contain it anymore. I woke Elric up and dragged him outside the bus. I was jumping with happiness cause' this was like an episode from an anime that I watched. I excitedly asked Elric.

"Do you think they have hot springs here?" wearing a big smile on my face.

"I think they do... Knowing that it's called Highsprings" covering his mouth, he yawned.

My eyes sparkled!

After the students got out of the buses, we were asked to assemble and ine up by gender. I guess the boys and girls sleep in different rooms. Ms. Antonnette assigned me and the other girls that I'm grouped with a room, it was room 403.

I asked Elric what his room number was and fortunately, he was in the room next to ours. Room 404, we then took an elevator to the third floor. Me and Elric and  our group entered our designated rooms, It was really spacious and I guess we were just sleepng on the floor.

Me and the girls plopped down our mattresses that were provided in the closet. After we were done settling down, I paid Elric a visit next door. I knocked on their door and someone from his group answered.

"Yeah?" he asked whilst opening the door.

"I'm looking for Elric." I retorted.

When I said that I was looking for Elric, he looked surprised...

"Yo dude, Elric. Your "girlfriend's" here to see you." he called out to him whilst looking at me.

I was dumbfounded. My eyes widened, I was caught of guard and when I was about to deny his statement, Elric approached him.

"My what now?!" wearing a confused/shocked look.

"Isn't she your girlfriend?" both of them looked at me.

"Oh, hey Ken." Elric waved.

I awkwardly said "Heyyy~"

"So anyways... Are you guys done settling down?" I quickly changed the subject.

"Yeah, we just finished." Elric replied.

"Great!" I exclaimed and grabbed Elric by the hand.

I started sprinting as he followed behind whilst I was golding his hand.

"Hey Elric, want to explore this place?" I asked.

"Sure, there's nothing better to do anyway." he replied.

Highsprings was a huge place and had a lot of tourist spots for the people to go to and take pictures. We can see mountains and trees around us while breathing the fresh air. I eventually slowed down and we came accross a vendng machine that was filled with drinks galore!

I bought a watermelon cola and it was really delicious an refreshing! I haven't tasted anything like it before. When we done taking a short break, we headed back to our inn and once again we explored the placed. I was hoping to find the hot springs beause that's what I'm excited for.

After more minutes or even an hour of exploring... We saw steam? Steam was coming out from the other side of a bamboo fence. When we checked it out, there it was the clear-steamy spring! But before we could get close to the hot spring, we were called out to have dinner.

We then went to the cafeteria... it was huge! Like maybe it could fit thousands of people. I got in line together with the other girls and the boys lne was just right beside the girls line. When we got our food, we looked for vacant seats and luckily there were two vacant seats beside each other.

We ate and helped in cleaning up the tables. Right after that, our adviser Ms. Antonnette announce something.

"Okay students, since all of you did a great job in cleaning and I also that you guys are excited for the hot springs, so go enjoy yourselves!"

We got dismissed and me and the girls went on ahead to our rooms to change into our robes. The hot springs had a bamboo wall in between so the boys and girls hot spring are separated. I tied my hair into a bun and after that we dipped in our bodies in the water.

It was really nice and soothing... I felt so relaxed. And when our limited time was up, we went back to our rooms and surprisingly the boys told us to play spin the bottle with them. It was midnight already and the boys invited us into their room.

But before going to their room, we grabbed snacks and they had drinks. We went inside and then we formed a circle with a pattern of boy and girl. And fortunately I was sitting next to Elric. Our female classmate spinned the bottle and it landed on...
