Elijah was scared. Scratch that, he was terrified. His little princess was gone. And there was nothing he could do about it.
He masked his emotions as he continued to look after the rest of them, just like she asked him to. He fussed over them, made sure they didn't do anything wrong and all in all made sure that they would be okay. He loved his siblings and that showed. He masked all his hurt and his pain and focused on easing theirs. He pushed his feelings to the back of his mind, prefering to help others. And the rest of them noticed that. They knew that Isabella was closest to Victor and Elijah. A lot closer than she was to the twins. They also knew how Elijah tended to bottle up his emotions. So, doing exactly what Izzy would have wanted from them, they decided to do something for their brother.
Getting up at 5 a.m. was not an easy task but they managed. They all got up and made breakfast, and when Elijah came down, they surprised him with what they called 'Elijah day'. Elijah hadn't been this happy for a long time now and this made tears spring to his eyes. Seeing this, Roman was the first one to get up and hug him with the others joining soon enough. It was in this embrace that Elijah finally broke down and cried and let the loss of his sister hit him.
After this particular incident, everyone pulled themselves together and focused on one thing and one thing only.
They had to find their sister.
