I don't own Marvel or DC.

If I did Hulk would have fought Thanos like he did to the Abomination and The Snyder Cut would have been the one that came out in theaters.

Marvel belongs to Disney and DC to Warner Bros.

There was a time before, a time above. There were perfect things. Diamond absolutes.

A funeral procession was ending as two caskets were sent to the family mausoleum. The cast over perfectly matched the situation. Dark clouds that brought cold wind sweeping over the area, carrying dry, shriveled leaves. In front of the procession was a young boy and an elder man. The boy clung to the man as he whimpered. The boy had been through a traumatic event that had he felt was his fault. If only he had been stronger. Maybe his parents would still be here.

But things fall. Things on Earth. And what falls is fallen.

Just as they neared the mausoleum, the boy's grief and pain overcame him and he ran off from the elder. The elder was surprised and called after him. "Master Wayne! Bruce!" Bruce didn't stop even when the man called out again. "It will be alright!"

It wasn't going to be alright. Bruce just wanted to get away from it all. Away from the loneliness, the pain and mistakes.

He was there that night. His father and mother, Thomas and Martha had taken him to see The Mark of Zorro. The three of them had a good time watching the movie in one of the oldest theaters in the city. Thomas had his right arm wrapped around his wife's waist and his left around Bruce's shoulders. They all laughed as Bruce recalled his favorite part of the film. Bruce leaned onto his father's side, thankful that his parents had taken him to see the movie. They were both walking down the street where their butler was waiting for them.

Bruce continued to run, pushing past low hanging branches. Some lashed at him when he pushed them aside but he ignored the pain on his arms. All he wanted was his family back.

The Wayne family continued to walk down the poorly lit street. Ahead of them, a man noticed the richly dressed family and stalked towards them. As he reached them, he pulled out a gun and pointed the weapon at Thomas's face. Everything became silent after that. Thomas pushed his family back and himself between them and the danger.

Bruce kept on running. Not caring on where he was. Then he tripped on a tree root he didn't see. But that didn't stop him. He stayed down not long and quickly scrambled back to his feet and kept on running.

Thomas was visibly displeased with the gun trained on his family. The man demanded the paper in his wallet and the jewelry on Martha's neck. All the while the man waved the gun around. He pushed Bruce back, making it so that the young boy was the safest. The man made another threat. It was all Thomas could stand for. His hand tighten into a fist before he tried to swing at the mugger.

The mugger was quicker and fired. The barrel discharged the bullet casing, and the slide went back. The bullet hit Thomas, causing him to fall to the ground.

Bruce's feet continued to carry him far from the funeral. Then all of the sudden, he hears the sound of splintering wood before he falls into the dark abyss while screaming.

As the bullet casing hit the ground, Martha tried to jump for the gun. The mugger fought her off easily and catching the necklace around his weapon. The barrel was now pointing at her face. The mugger lowers its aim to her chest as she gives a pleading look to him, silently begging to be spared.
