Tony and Banner were staring a board full of things and ways that people would do to speak or summon their gods. "Would this way work?" Tony asked, pointing to a picture. Bruce shook his head. Before he could reply though, the building shook and a rainbow colored beam landed outside of the Tower. The two scientists look outside and see the god of thunder standing on the landing platform of the Quinjet. "Well, what about that?" Tony asked, pointing to Thor. "We didn't have to do anything at all."

Steve Rogers turned the TV off and tossed his remote down on the sofa he sat in his apartment. He sat down and thought over what the news was talking about the past week. Some vigilante that had disappeared fifteen years before the Avengers first assembled. Someone called the Batman. Or the Gotham Bat.
Steve may not have known what happened before he was brought out of the ice, but he had heard about some masked vigilante in Gotham but he had dismissed it as some hoax. Now he had seen reports of the Batman that he had returned. And that he was real. Very real.
And looks from it, the Batman had become more brutal, branding people and criminals are taking it as a death sentence for those who wear the Bat brand. Whoever the Batman is back then, he was now more of a threat that needed to be stopped.
He gets a message on his phone. He opened it up and saw that the message was from Stark. A gala? He read to himself in confusion. What gave Stark that idea? He sighed and put his phone away. Well, Avengers assemble I guess.
