Howdy my wonderful fans and people that are not fans but are reading this anyway! There is a blizzard outside and I'm snuggled up in my snuggie (it was a gift for Christmas) and my laptop. Now, when you read this chapter just know that some of the facts are inaccurate. That is the magic of your imagination; it doesn't have to be correct just your grammar, which mine usually isn't lol. Anyhoo, I'll shut up now and let you enjoy this next one! Please enjoy and you know the drill!!

Chapter 3
Jennifer let the call go straight to voice mail; she wasn’t about to pick up the phone when she didn’t recognize the number. When she checked it, the unknown number turned out to be Gabe saying he would call right back. If she had a lick of sense, she wouldn’t answer when he called back. She still couldn’t understand why this man was willing to drop everything to help out someone he doesn’t even know.
“Because he is the protector of the child.”
Jennifer turned around to see a man standing by the windows. She had seen him one time before; a year ago when her and Molly started to run. Cold, icy blue eyes stared back at her waiting for a response.
“How did you get in here?” She asked.
“That’s not important. What is important though is you answering his call when he calls back.”
The man took a step toward her causing her to flinch.
“Do not be afraid my child for I am an angel of the Lord. My name is Uriel.”
Jennifer wanted to slap herself; she had to be dreaming. Her phone picked that moment to ring.
“Answer it. You can trust him.”
And with that, the man disappeared right before her eyes.
“Hello?” Jennifer answered the phone in a shaky voice.
“Jennifer, are you okay? You sound like something is wrong; is it Molly?” Gabe asked in a worried tone.
“Oh no, we’re fine. I think I just need some rest.”
Jennifer took a deep breath to help settle her nerves. Too much was happening too fast for her.
“Within the next hour or so, a man will contact you about the money I’m wiring to you. Don’t worry, he is someone I trust.” Gabe said trying to reassure her.
“As soon as I get the money, I will pay you back.” Jennifer didn’t want to be in debt to him no more than she had to be.
“We will discuss that when I get there. My plane is about to take off so I’ll call you as soon as I land.”
Jennifer closed her eyes. Just a few more hours and she and Molly wouldn’t be alone anymore.
“Okay; thank you again, Gabriel.”
“I’ll see you guys soon.”
The line went dead before anything else was said. As soon as she had some money, she would make sure Molly was well fed then they would try to get some sleep. She knew she needed rest; she was just about on her last leg and didn’t think she could make it too much longer before a dire mistake was made all because she was too exhausted to focus…

Hours later, Gabe sat on a cargo plane deep in thought. For some reason he felt that him receiving Molly’s letters wasn’t just a coincidence. Out of all the soldiers she could have picked to write to, his name was the one she chose but why? Why had she chosen him?
