~Xander's POV~
We are waiting in line for the Ferris Wheel and I'm freaking out. I've always been afraid of heights and I was dumb enough to let a bunch of teenage boys choose.
"Are you okay?" Hayes asked putting his hand on my shoulder.
"Uh yeah I just kinda have a little fear of heights." I said laughing nervously
"I'll be in there don't worry." he said.
The worker started loading up the MAGCON family. One would go in they would skip a cart and then another would go in. When we got in the cart we started going up. I think Hayes saw me starting to freak out.
~Hayes POV~
Once we started going up I looked over at Xander and she looked really scared. I moved closer to her.
"How are ya doing?" I asked
she laughed "uh okay I guess... but if I do freak out you'll be the only one to see it."
"Yeah I think that's cool how we can see out but no one can see in." We've been around about once but were almost at the top.
"I wouldn't look down we're at the very top"
"Thanks hayes" she said
All of a sudden we jolted to a stop.
"Hayes what's going on?" She asked
"They're probably just unloading some of us." I said hopeful
The speaker inside of our cart blasted out the worker belows voice.
"I'm sorry passengers but we are having some difficulties. Just hold tight and we will get the carts moving as soon as possible."
The speaker cut off.
"I can't believe we're stuck up here" Xander said very upset.
"Hey" I said rubbing her back "Well be fine."
"I wouldn't be this freaked out if we weren't at the very top" she said looking out the window.
"Okay don't look at the window.... lets focus on something else."
"Okay" she said
"This isn't the best birthday is it" I said
"It was until this... but at least I'm not alone" she said smiling and grabbing my hand. I looked at our hands and smiled at her.
"You want to know something Xander?"
"What" she asked
"As soon as I heard one of your YouTube videos I fell in love with your voice."
"We'll thank you" she said laughing.
"We'll now I might be falling for you."
"Hayes..."
"Look I understand you probably aren't falling for me because you just met me but I love everything about you and if you want to wait I'm willing to wait for you." I said
" well Grier if you would of let me finish I was going to say Hayes... I'm falling for you too" she said
"Really?" I asked
"But" she started,of course" I have a boyfriend" she said
"Oh well he's a lucky guy" I said over the sound of my heart breaking.
"your cute when your upset" she said hugging me.
"Thanks, I guess?" I said laughing. she pulled away and looked at me. I started to lean in and our lips connected and I swear fireworks went off. we when we pulled away she looked at me again.
"Xander... I'm sorry for kissing you even though you just told me you have a boyfriend." I said
"Don't be sorry." She said smiling and hugging me tighter.
I hugged her back and that moment was the best moment in the world. 5 minutes later the Ferris wheel started to work again. We pulled apart and I moved to the other side of the cart. Once we got off we all met at a cotton candy stand nearby.
"That was fun... right guys" Jack j asked
"No" the rest of us said in unison.
"Hey let's go play those carnival games" Xander said
She went straight to the football one.
"Hello friends to play this game you need 3 people and one game is five dollars." the game worker said.
"I'm playing!!!!" Xander says
"I'm in" Shawn says
"I got thisssss" i say "wait what exactly do We have to do?" I asked the worker
" The person that throws this football the farthest wins."
He says handing Shawn a football.
"I guess I'll go first." Shawn says
He throws it pretty far but bit far enough to beat me.
I threw my football and it went about 10 yards ahead of shawns.
"Good job bruhh" he said high fiving me.
"Sorry That you have to follow my amazing throw that you'll never beat" I said to Xander.
"Be careful your ego is getting larger than your grade point average." she said grabbing the football.
"Slay" Carter shouted.
She threw the football and it went 20 yards farther than mine.
"I think we have a winner!"
my mouth dropped she beat me.
"Hey Hayes close our mouth I think I saw some flies go in there" she said laughing
"It's on Grafton!!" I said to her
