9:45pm

I was so nervous....I tried to pick the most comfortable outfit but not looking so crazy. it was a date after all. I had packed everything I wanted for our little date, blankets, muffins, and water. I double checked I had everything I needed. I also brought my wand incase anything crazy happens. It was a little early to meet Fred in the common room. I was going to wait to go down until it was 10, but being a little early couldn't hurt.

I grabbed my basket and put my sweater on and my red beanie. I opened my door and closed it behind me, locking it. I quietly walked down the spiral stairs to not wake anyone who had been asleep. I walked out from the staircase into the common room. I jumped a little when I saw someone sitting down on the couches. It was just Fred.

"Fred? how long have you been waiting for me?" I said with a confused look on my face, I told him to meet me here at 10 but he looked like he was waiting for a while. "not too long, well....is 45 mins long?" He said quietly laughing. He got up and walked towards me. He grabbed the basket full of things i packed. "let me help you with this stuff, you look like you need it". The basket wasn't heavy, I think he was just trying to be a gentlemen, which was sweet of him.

"thanks Freddie" I said blushing, looking up at him. He really was just so fun to look at. "So what do you have planned, I've been dying to know already." He said quietly, whispering to me. "well here's the thing, Im actually gonna need a favor. My plan is to go to the quidditch field, have a little picnic, watch the stars for a little and just ya know...hang. BUT for us to get to the quidditch field, we need to-" "fly..." He said interrupting me, smiling at the idea.

"you want to go to the field right now? its 10 pm...someone might catch us" He said smirking but worried at the same time. "there's no fun if there isn't a little bit of danger now is there?" I said giving him a smile and raising my eyebrow. He just started at me for a good 5 seconds before smiling and giggling. "ill go get my broom, be right back" he powered walked up the stairs to his room. It was funny watching him get excited, he looked like a kid running up the stairs.

I sat on the couches waiting for him to come back. 3 mins later I hear him coming down the stairs, He was stomping quickly. It was funny to hear him rushing back down, but I was worried if someone would hear and wake up. "im back, lets go!" He said picking up our basket and his broom in the other hand, walking towards the doors to leave the common room. "Fred, could you have stomped any louder, you could have woken someone up." i turned to him smiling and shaking my head. "there's no fun if there isn't a little bit of danger now is there?" He mocked me raising and eyebrow and winking at me.

We exited the common room and carefully creeped down the hallway, making sure nobody would see us. When we got to the courtyard, he held his broom out and put the basket down. "alright so here's what were gonna do, Im flying this because you can fly to save your life, secon-" I interupted "how do you If im good at flying?" I said crossing my arms and looking at him laughing. "ive seen you in our flying class, you look dreadful" "but im not in your flying class- FRED do you watch me during class?!" I said brusting into laughter, trying to be quiet. It was so hard not to make any noise. "maybe sometimes during my free time.....what? I can't help it, you look so funny." He covered his mouth trying not to make any more noise.

"anyways, second, you are going to sit behind me, holding the baske-.....well thats going to be tricky......here, ill make the basket small for the mean time we get there so its easier to grab onto me." He said taking the basket from my hand. He preformed a spell to make it shrink for the mean time. reducio. the basket shrunk before my eyes, i could hold it in my palm. it looked kinda cute actually .
