Darkness surrounds me

Where's the light

I need the light,

It's the only way I can survive

The black night won't go away

I can't see

Where's my mommy and daddy

To help me

Closing my eyes

Makes it worse

It's getting darker

What's it worth

If I cannot see

Or eat and play

Now it's hard to breathe

If I cannot live in the light

I might as well give up the fight

My last glimpse is slowly fading

I wish, I may

I wish, I might

That one day I will see the light
