Chapter 36: Deal With A Bird From Hell...

As Jin arrived in the infirmary, Yusuke quickly sent a glare in his way which Jin shrugged off.

Yusuke: "What is he doing here!?"

He exclaimed with a lot of venom in his voice!

Raito: "Little Bro, let me explain..."

Jin: "No let me..."

Jin: "I helped you escape from ARK during the battle, alright..."

Yusuke: "Wasn't he the same guy that brainwashed you, Raito Nii-San?"

Raito: "He was..."

Yusuke: "Was?"

Raito: "He saved you and in return he wants us to help him..."

Yusuke: "Help him do what exactly?"

Raito: "He wants to destroy ARK as well."

Yusuke: "And why is that? So he could take over...?"

Jin: "Because I want to save Horobi..."

Yusuke: "Horobi...? Why do you want to save him...?"

Jin: "Because He's my father..."

Yusuke: "Father? You mean father figure, right?"

Jin: "Correct..."

Yusuke: "Why? Wasn't he the one who started the Metsubojinrai.Net thing..."

Jin: "Well...technically ARK was the one who made the whole Metsubojinrai.Net thing, while Horobi was being the temporary leader..."

Yusuke: "That still doesn't excuse what you've done in the past!"

Raito: "Yusuke, Calm down..."

Raito: "With ARK running rampant, we need all the help we can get even if we're fighting for different reasons..."

Yusuke: "Fine! But I only have one question..."

Jin: "What?"

Yusuke: "What type of HumaGear are you?"

Raito: "What do you mean?"

Yusuke: "Jin isn't a registered HumaGear type in the Hiden Intelligence database..."

Raito: "Meaning...?"

Yusuke: "He isn't from Hiden, but when I looked at some files from Taiga, one of them was Project T.H.O.U.S.E.R. and there was a red file called J.I.N."

Yusuke: "So I connected two and two together and came to the conclusion that Jin is the result of Project J.I.N."

Jin: "Very well..."

Jin: "J.I.N. actually means Junior Infiltration Unit..."

Yusuke: "Wait the N stands for Unit? Doesn't that mean you're name is supposed to be Jiu?"

Jin: "I actually asked my creators the same thing, turns out there was a glithc in the typing system and the printing system that would constantly swap the U with the N letter, which is pretty weird to be perfectly honest..."

Raito: "I'm not even going to ask how that could happen..."

Raito: "So what was your objective?"

Jin: "My role was basically to act like a learning child...hence Junior..."

Yusuke: "Good point..."

Jin: "I was to understand and study what ARK's plans were and to turn on him when the opportunity was right..."

Raito: "But when Horobi became your Father type figure..."

Yusuke: "You couldn't..."

Jin: "That's right..."

Jin: "I'm not strong enough to hurt my own Dad..."

Yusuke: "How did Horobi become your Dad? Should your creator be ZAIA?"

Jin: "You see..."

Jin: "My specs were stolen by the ARK when it was still connected to ZAIA systems and it transmitted my specs which Horobi later used to build me..."

Raito: "Oh ok..."

Raito: "That makes sense, I guess...?"

Jin: "Says the person who was built by a Human father which makes him in the same position as mine..."

The Young HumaGear commented making Yusuke laugh at his older brother's misfortune while looking at Jin with an intense glare before relenting...

Yusuke: "Fine, we'll work together..."

Yusuke: "But don't expect me to fully trust you..."

Jin: "I wouldn't have it any other way."

He said as he and Raito soon walked towards the door.

Yusuke: "But..."

He said as both Jin and Raito looked behind them seeing Yusuke wanting to say something...

Yusuke: "Don't worry, Jin."

Yusuke: "We'll save your Dad..."

He said as he gave Jin a half-trusting smile...

Jin: "Thank you, Yusuke..."

He thanked the boy with sincerity...

Raito: "I knew you'd come around."

Yusuke: "But remember, if he betrays us, its on you..."

Raito: "I'll take full responsibility for when that happens..."

Yusuke: "Good! Now get out I want to sleep..."

He said with a tired tone and expression...

Raito: "Alright, see you around..."

He said as both him and Jin walked  out and shut the door behind them...

When they shut the door, Yusuke looked at the Rocking Hopper Key and thinking

'I hope this was a good decision.'

He thought as his mind soon wandered off with closed eyes, a soft pillow, and a warm blanket.
