He shook my hand lightly, barley taking hold of it. His hands were warm from the hot chocolate he had been drinking. He let go of my hand and I place mine in my lap.
"Y/n?" I nod as he tested my name out. "I think that's a wonderful name! It seems to suit you too." He complemented. I smiled at him and thanked him. A moment of comfortable silence passed as we sat there sipping hot chocolate by the fire and with my pets. "Age?" He asked out of no where.
"19." I responded honestly. He nodded his head, staring at his beverage. He smiled a little before he spoke up.
"20." He responded to his own question. So a year older. I nod my head as I stared in the fire.
"Ranboo?" I asked, saying his name and seeing how it rolled off my tongue. It surprisingly was fairly easy, and was kind of a nice word to say. He looked at me and hummed. "I don't mean to sound rude, but why are you here? Like, how did you um...where did you come from?" He chuckled a bit at my question, before turning towards the fire, petting Dream gently as he slept next to him.
"Funny story, actually. I had decided to wonder away from my small village I lived in. My family always talked about how grateful I should be for not living in the snowy mountains. They always talked about how terrible it was up here. So, being the curious but dumb person I am, I ventured out into the open world and decided to experience myself. Let's just say my first experiences probably weren't...the best." He explained, giggling at himself. I snort a little and shake my head at him.
"Well, I've been living up here for a while. After my parents death at the age of 16, I already knew how things worked. After a while, I got brave myself and found all my pets. Once I had them, I knew I wasn't alone and that everything would be fine." Truthfully, I did miss my parents, but if they were still here, they would scold me for having a pet pig instead of killing it. Ranboo nodded his head in an understanding way. I grabbed the empty cup from his hands before walking over to my cauldron and cleaned them out. I heard him shift slightly, probably to sit on the couch. I turn around and see him on the couch.
"Would you prefer if I had my shoes off?" He asked, trying to be polite. I nodded my head. He placed his foot on his ankle and slipped his shoes off quickly. I take them from him and placed them by the door before sitting next to him. "Thank you, but you really didn't need to!" He thanked me. I only smiled and rolled my eyes.
I look over and see Dream about to jump up on the couch. I whistle at him before he could jump up. He looked at me before looking at Antfrost. He slightly growled at him, before flopping down over my feet. Technoblade hasn't moved from his spot my the fire place, and George was standing on top of him. Antfrost stretched himself across my lap and demanded me to pet him. I scratch his head as he slowly meowed at me.
"Hey," Ranboo hummed. "Wanna play chess?"

"And. check. mate." Ranboo muttered, throwing his hand up and behind his head. I groan and rolled my eyes. I looked out my window, to see the sun finally back. I sat up and pushed the chair up, standing. I catch Ranboo's attention as he stands up as well, easily towering over me. He busted out laughing as he stood next to me. "How are you so short!? Oh my god! You're like, troll sized!" He laughed out. I shook my head and cracked the spruce door open, checking outside. I was met with a nice cold breeze. The blizzard had stopped.
"Good news Ranboo." I said, looking back at him. He blinks at me, waiting for my answer. "Blizzard has cleared out!" He smiled and looked outside, only to see huge piles of snow blocking almost everything. As he looked out the windows, I grabbed two iron shovels, one for him and one for I. He looked over me as I tossed him the shovel. He stumbled to catch it, but caught it. "So now you have to help me clear it out so you can get back home!" He groans but nods his head. I was surprised at his willingness.
I shovel a small pathway out of the door and point to an area for him to start shoveling. He lifted his long legs and slowly made his way over there. I got scared, if the snow was up to his hips, then I'd drown in the snow. I quickly prayed for my life before starting to shove, the pathway that led down the mountain.
After a few hours, we had a good amount of the pathways dug out and cleared of snow. We started to dig the snow from around the house. I had to have him keep and eye on me, so that if I accidentally fell backwards, I wouldn't slowly suffocate and drown in the high amounts of snow there was left over. As we dug away, my arms started to grow weary. I stoped for a second and shook them for a little, before flopping backwards, thinking that there would only be a small pile of snow to break my fall that I was used to. Only to realize that wasn't the case. I noticed a little to late though.
"SHIT-!" I yelled as I fell into the pile. It wasn't as bad as I thought at first. Until the snow collapsed down onto me. I slightly screamed before getting a mouth full of snow.
"Y/n? Y/n!? Work with me buddy, where are you!?" Ranboo asked as he frantically looked around for me. I built up my strength and extended my arm upwards. Only the tips of my fingers emerged to the top, but it was enough for him to see. He shoved his gloved hand into the snow and grabbed my wrist. I closed my mouth, closed my eyes, and held my breathe as he pulled me up and out of the snow. I cough out for air. "Breathe Y/n, breathe..." he told me, rubbing my back I nodded.
"I'm fine, I'm fine. I'm used to it..." I told him, sighing. He nodded as we grabbed our shovels again. "After this lets make use of the snow and build an igloo."
