I rubbed my eyes and slowly sat up, feeling my tangled hair fall down and onto my back. I adjusted to the lighting, before throwing my feet over the side of my black bed. I resist the urge to lay back down on the cotton sheets and groan at the displeasure as I let my unclothed feet hover above the Spruce planked floor, before setting them down gently. A cold rush ran up my body and up to my head. Instinctively, I pull my feet up and breathe in harshly. I shake my head and placed them back down and stood up this time. I stumble over to the door and opened it, then left for the bathroom.
Sighing I grabbed the handmade toothbrush and I poor water from my bucket onto it, dampening it before throwing toothpaste on top of it. After lazily brushing my teeth I spat it out into the sink and shake my head roughly, trying to wake myself up better.
grabbing the brush made of horse tail hairs, I comb it through my hair, pulling it harshly at times when I reached a rough knot. After doing so I ran back to my room and swiftly grabbed my clothes for the day before rushing back to the bathroom to change into the warmer clothes.
I walked out of the bathroom with a new set of clothes and detangled hair. My dog barked at me and stuck it's tongue out, slightly panting at me. I smiled at him and petted his fur, his lime green collar clinking with his tag.
"Good morning Dream, how do'ya do?" I said, smiling gently at him. He gave me a small bark and a smile, answering my question. His green eyes standing out against his pale white fur.
I remember when we first met, it was almost like a fated meeting. I had traveled down the mountain to get some berries and other food not usually grown in the mountains, when I had heard a bark from along the tree lines.
Confused I walked over to the tree lines, searching for the little dog that barked at me. Seeing it, I noticed its green eyes first, the thing that stood out the most from it. The second being it's size, not normal for a wolf. After taming him with some spare bones I had, I quickly fell in love with the dog. I had named him Dream because it felt like a dream when I had met him, it didn't feel real.
I let go of his head and walk towards my kitchen. I opened a chest and looked around until I found some uncooked steak. I grab some coal and stick it in the furnace, before lighting it with a flint n' steel. I waited for the coal to heat up, before placing the steak on a pan, and sliding it into the furnace. I look over at Dream, he was standing right in front of his food bowl. I laughed and walk over. He jumped and danced around me and I filled his bowl up with dog food. He frowned a little as he realized the steak wasn't for him but was instead for myself.
I walk away from Dream and grab a little bowl and fill it up with bird food. I walk over to my little parrot, who was already wide awake, and opened his cage. He sung a little tune as I gave him his food. As he ate, I pushed my index finger gently on his small head. He was a light blue color, little specs of yellow here and there.
"Good Morning George." I greet to him. He looks up and tweets at me, saying his own hello towards me. I sighed and walked away, leaving his cage open. I walked over and grabbed a bucket of corn and soybeans. Dream walked up to me and pawed at my leg. "Oh, you want to go say hi to Technoblade?" I asked him. Dream smiled and barked up at me. I chuckled. "Ok, George," I yelled, looking back at the bird. "Stay here." He gave a small tweet to say his response,
I opened the Spruce door and walked out into the freezing terrain of the snowy mountains I live on. I realized a little to late that I had forgotten my shoes, but decided against going back inside and continued to walk towards my pig pen. I dump the bucket of corn and soybeans into Technoblade's food tray, then watched him waddle over and start eating. I gave him a few pats on the head, before Dream got jealous of the attention and barked at me. I looked over.
"I know Dream, but I have to say hi to Technoblade too." I told him. He whimpers and pawed at me. I sighed and let go of Technoblade. "See you later Techno." I told the pig, before walking back to my house. I hear a small 'meow' around the area and instantly started looking around. My eyes caught on to the cat. "Antfrost! Come inside your going to freeze!" I yelled at the cat. Antfrost climbed up me and sat down onto my shoulder. "Or do that..." I walked inside my house once more, Antfrost now jumping off of me and heading towards the fireplace. I nod at the cat, telling him I'd light it later.
I walk over to my furnace and pull my steak out, it was cooked perfectly. I started to eat it and hummed in delight. Nothing like a perfectly cooked steak to start your day off huh? Suddenly, the sound of the wind picking up speed was heard. I assume another blizzard is coming. I placed my steak down and ran outside. I ran to Technoblade and opened his gate. He instantly waddled over to my house as fast as he could. The wind scratched at my face as I ran back inside and slammed the door. I let my air out, seeing a small cloud. I look over and see all my animals crowded over by the fireplace, beckoning me to light it.
My teeth click together rapidly as I grabbed my flint n' steel. I walked over to the pit, and slowly lit the firewood already placed there. Slowly, the fire started to grow. I sighed and grabbed a pillow and blanket from up on the couch and sat down my the fireplace with my animals. George came flying down and landed on my shoulder, finding warmth and comfort as I wrapped my blanket around me. I look over and see Dream and Technoblade. Dream was slightly slapping Technoblade with his paw as the pig tried to sleep, cuddling next to me. I grabbed Dreams paw.
"Dream, what did I say about bullying Techno?" Dream whimpers and walks over to the other side of me, curling up next to me. Antfrost places himself in my lap as I lean my back against the bottom part of the couch. I close my eyes, the only sound in the room were the sounds of the fireplace crackling away, Technoblade giving out small snores, Antfrost's small purrs, the sound of the wind scratching against the windows, and the faint sound of someone knocking. Wait.
I open my eyes and look at the door, sure enough, someone's knocking. I pick Antfrost up and placed him down. He meowed angrily at me, he must've been asleep. George flew off my shoulder and rested himself on Dreams head. I rushed over to the door and opened it. Not checking who, or what it was, I pulled them inside and instantly dragged them over to the fireplace. I wrapped a blanket around them before walking over to make hot chocolate. I walk back over to them, Dream and Antfrost cuddling up against them in an attempt to warm them. I hand them a cup of hot chocolate, steam emerging from the top. I sit down next to them, Technoblade and George scouring over to get attention.
"Thank you so much. Really, I thought I saw my life flash before my eyes!" The man laughed out. I look over at him. He had black and white hair that fell almost directly into his green and red eyes. His skin was pale and complemented the business suit he wore, his red tie half undone. His gloves wrapped gingerly around the cup I had given him, and his crown he wore was slightly tilted. He reached up and pulled his black and white mask down, to reveal a pair of fangs. He took a small sip of his hot chocolate before looking back to me. "How rude of me, my names Ranboo!" He said, extending his hand with a black glove one. I stare at it for a little while, before meeting his eyes and placing my hand in his.
"Y/n."
