Life was different for him and he knew that once the divorce went through. He lost his kids and the love of his life but he did it for a reason, a reason that no one should know, not even Nayeon.
He was at work, busy sorting out paperwork that he didn't realise that someone visited him unexpectedly.
"Well if it isn't park jinyoung." A voice beamed as Jinyoung snapped out of his daydream, turning his head to look at the door.
Yugyeom leaned against the door and Jinyoung tuts at the younger boy. "What do you want Yugyeom?" He asked, sorting out his paperwork that was a mess on his desk.
"I was wondering why you didn't come and see us yesterday?" Yugyeom asked, ignoring Jinyoung's question.
"I told you yesterday yugyeom that I am busy and I was meeting up with my cousin, that's the reason why I couldn't come." He explained and Yugyeom hummed in response.
"Oh so it wasn't the reason for not wanting to see Jaebeom after you divorced his sister?" Yugyeom asked. "I saw her yesterday, she's really changed and I don't think she's coping that well without you hyung."
Jinyoung's heart aches when he heard Yugyeom say that, he knew that all the pain that she was going through was because of him but he couldn't go back. "It's not that at all Yugyeom. Don't you have a job to get to?" Jinyoung tried to change the subject, talking about how his ex wife had his heart aching over the terrible thing he did.
"Nope I'm off today anyways can you show me where Jaebeom's office is please?" He asked, doing puppy dog eyes towards Jinyoung who sighed and got up from his chair.
They walked to Jaebeom's office and Yugyeom knocked on the door, waiting for a reply. "Come in!" Jaebeom shouted and Yugyeom opened the door and dragged Jinyoung in the room with him.
"Hey Hyung!" Yugyeom smiled at the older man, who smiled back at him while Jinyoung stood there awkwardly.
"Yugyeom-ah what are you doing here?" Jaebeom asked, getting off his chair and walked to the two boys.
"Just wanted to see you, hyung." He responded and Jinyoung cleared his throat, grabbing their attention.
"I should go." He stated and was about to leave when Jaebeom stopped him. "Jinyoung where are you going?" He asked and Jinyoung stood still, not wanting to face him, his best friend and his ex brother in law.
"I have work to do." He replied, turning around and facing Jaebeom. "Another time maybe?" He left in a hurry and went back to his office.
