People of Berk knew Gothi was to be trusted on ancestral manners, but something as absurd as magical dragons who were prophesied centuries ago was just something they won't accept without proof.

The trains of thought was cut when dragons landed close to the burning body. Curiosity filled the vikings' minds as they watched the dragons.

Shockingly they took a bite of the fire resinating above the body before quickly leaving the confused vikings to question all that just happened. I mean who wouldn't be confused when a dragon that breaths fire just gobbled down some glowing fire.

"Men to the ships, back to Berk!" Stoic yelled not wanting to spend more time in this insane island.

"Welcome back Chief, was the trip eventful?" Bucket questioned before answering his own question. "I suppose not with that frown on all yer faces!"

"Gather the townspeople, we have somethings to discuss." Stoic's voice boomed around the docks, following his orders bucket ran to the town yelling like a madman.

Even if the teens and majority of the Berkian population came on the trip, not one knew what their Chief wanted to announce.

As soon as Stoic appeared on stage he went straight to his point.

"I know none of you know why I have summoned any of you, but I have been informed by Gothi on these new dragons..." The crowd started murmuring.

"As she has told, they were prophesies given to our ancestors by the gods, Forseti, Freyer and Lodurr.-" a large intake of air was taken on the mention of their gods.

"it was given after a well won raid of dragons, they had heard the cries of their dying children and had decided to step in without the permission of Odin. Their words said. '"you all have gone far in your fear for your equals of a different world! On a dreadful raid on the moon never seen would two hybrids be born, bringing the peace between the two worlds. Disaster brought to them and all shall pay & they shall be the most unexpected."' "

The dropping silence of the crowd was anticipated. "I know this was something we could never anticipate but we must prepare the ourselves for anything, we cannot loose another to those beasts, what do you all say!"

On the edge

"da-ah-ad! Muh-ah-um!" Zepher giggled to her younger brother Nuffink; pointing to her father then her mother. Even if she still struggled to speak some words she was a smart lass.

Hiccup and Astrid decided it was time to tie the knot a year ago even if it was to early into their dating relationship they knew they'd stay together forever. "I- well at least we'd know they'd get along." giving Hiccup a punch in the side, Astrid called on the kids for lunch before the trip.

"Zepher! Nuffink! time for lunch, we're visiting grandmas' afterwards!" Picking up Niffink, Zepher raced to her parents hoping to finish faster to be on the sky.

"Are you two sure you don't want to come?" Hiccup said to the Children of Oswald. Shaking their heads they responded.

"No someone needs to look after the Island along with queen Mala. You guys have fun, you definitely need it after keeping this island afloat for five years!" Heather then patted both Toothless and Stormfly's head.

"take them away and keep them away till they're all relaxed !" she whispered to the two dragons, causing everyone to laugh.

"Alright we'll see you all in a few weeks." Everyone waved their leaders and offsprings goodbye and wished them well.

"hey mom?" Zepher cut the small silence of their trip. "yes Zeph?" the small girl seemed hesitant to continue her question but spoke.

"whe- do- uhm... do we have a grandpa?" This one question always scared the two. Hiccup knew she would ask this question and had prepared an answer before hand, the truth.

"well Zepher... your mom's dad died years before you and Niffink were even born, and mine lives... but wouldn't like who we are and what we believe in." The two were never afraid to bring death to the conversation with their children, Zepher knew exactly how and why it happens, especially since their daughter had witnessed multiple deaths of old dragons.

"ouh... could we go to your home island?"
of course the young Haddock wanted to explore the island of Berk, she always asked questions about where they used to live who they were. But now she wanted to see it all.

"a-are you sure sweetheart? I-i mean don't you want to see grandma?" Astrid tried to avoid their home as much as possible. Berk was only for the strong and if you were a runt, you'd be the disappointment of the village.

All that pressure and pain was given to her when her father died, her uncle made sure to give both of the teens a living Heimlem. Where it be training to be the best dragon hunter or shaming on the forge, he never ceased to destroy them.

Stoic, the second father of Astrid and Hiccup's father he had always loved the friendship the two shared as children but as Valka and Ingrid were taken that night his great chief and father balance slowly disappeared and turned to the ruthless dragon killer he is. Leaving her to deal with her uncle and to Hiccup being left to be alone.

Though the two may be their family, they had hurt them more than anyone. But as stubborn as Berkians were the two were willing to try to change their minds, see the beauty of their new world has become.

But their thoughts fell short as arrows shot up to bring them down.

"Dragon Hunters!" "Fly higher" Both Hiccup and Astrid panicked, changing their corse and destroying ships they flew south, unknown to them they'd just given their daughter what she wanted.

It's time to see you Berk, get ready.
