We thought this happiness would last forever, but how wrong we were...
Y/N's POV*
The flock and I were coming back to our home when we suddenly smelled smoke. We all flew quickly to see that out house was on fire! Everything was in flames and I'm pretty sure we wouldn't be able to save anything in there. We all hid behind a nearby shed that was near the house, everyone was in panic and Max was trying her best to calm everyone down. I held Angel in my arms and Iggy hugged us. We were all worried for our safety and looked at Max to see if she had a plan for what we do next. She look so confused and terrified, we thought we were safe from them but we were so wrong. I hugged Iggy tightly as he also hugged me back with the same strength.
Max then says "We have to move somewhere else guys, it's too dangerous here." We all hesitantly agree because we thought this would be our forever home and we had such great memories there. As quickly as possible, we tried to find a plan to escape without being seen by Erasers. I have always been terrified of them and even have a scar from one of our encounters with them. I keep holding Iggy's hand tightly and he grips it back too, telling me that he know I'm scared and that he'll always be there for me.
No one's POV*
The flocks plan was to fly near a the mountains and find somewhere high to stay for the meantime. They would either find a cave of some sort and just be there until they can find a new home. So, they all flew low and tried to stay hidden so no Erasers could see them. But just as they were were escaping, they then get stopped by a group of Erasers and are suddenly being chased by them. They end up getting split up. Y/N is by herself now and has no idea what to do. She got separated by the others even Iggy. She then flew down but just as she gets nearer to the ground, the same group of Erasers end up catching her in a net. Y/N screams for help but no one answers and they handcuff her and take her inside a vehicle.
Iggy's POV*
As we all get separated, I couldn't help but only worry about Y/N. I have Gazzy with me but I wasn't able to hold onto her and now we can't find anyone. I'm in complete panic but Gazzy tells me everything is gonna be okay. But it's not, if she gets hurt again, I wouldn't know what to do with myself. I can't live without my Y/N. The love of my life and my whole world. Suddenly, I hear screaming and calls for help. I know it's her because I can recognize her voice anywhere. I quickly fly up and fly as fast I can to get to her. I could hear Gazzy behind me, but all I care about is getting to Y/N. But I was too late I don't hear her screaming anymore and I know they have captured her. Gazzy then tells me as he rushes to my side "They took her in one of their huge metal vehicles!" I start tearing up and fall to my knees, they took her and I couldn't save her in time. The flock suddenly found us and I said in a panicked tone" WE HAVE TO SAVE Y/N! Who knows what they might do to her once they got her in their lab again!" I grabbed Max's hands and begged that we had to save her as soon as possible. Max then says "Iggy we have to come up with a plan first, if we try and go now, we will all get captured and we won't be able to do anything after that." I couldn't believe what I was hearing. We need to go now, we can't wait much longer or else she will get hurt or even killed and then I wouldn't be able to control this rising anger I feel inside of me.
No one's POV*
Angel then goes up to Iggy and gives him a big tight hug. She then says " I know what you're thinking Iggy but that's not the answer to anything, we need to stay clam and find a way to save Y/N the right way ok?" Iggy looked down at the young girl and hugged her back, he started crying hard. He was disappointed with himself. Mostly because he couldn't make it to her and that she wasn't there by his side right now. The flock all decided that they would go to the hideout that they were keeping Y/N because they hadn't taken her to The School just yet. They plan to get her before dawn breaks, so hopefully they won't be seen but they would have to do everything carefully so no one is caught.
Will we ever gain our happiness back now?
*Hello my readers, I'm back and ready to finally finish this story! There will only be maybe a few chapters left and then it'll be completed but it will take time as I am at the start of my senior year in high school so I will be busy with that 😭
