A week later,
Singto let out a tired sigh as he dragged his feet into New Horizon building. It wasn't that he wasn't passionate about his job. Still, a week of continually dodging Puimek's relentless flirting with him at work and playing a referee between his mother and husband at home was starting to take its heavy toll on him. His mother and husband had been fighting and arguing over EVERYTHING, mainly things related to him...be it whether he should eat before or after showering or changing his clothes, or what he should or shouldn't eat or drink...
Singto sighed. It wasn't enough that he was always caught in the middle of their endless fights, he and Krist hadn't gotten any quality time alone since their arrival in Thailand, due to Krist's anger at him for hiding their marriage from his mother and seemingly taking his mother's side whenever a quarrel erupted between the two, and also due to Krist being too tired after a long day of house chores, not to mention his mother's nasty habit of continuously interrupting them whenever he was trying to coax his stubborn husband.
"Hey, Singto!" Earth greeted as he ran into his friend near the elevator. "You look tired. Didn't sleep well?"
"I did," Singto replied grumpily as the two entered. "But the situation at home between Krist and Mom isn't getting any better, and I'm the one getting caught in the crossfire!"
"Hang in there, Buddy!" Earth said, laughing gloatingly. "It's part of the married life, you know!"
Singto gave his friend an annoyed look in response but said nothing.

Krist grumbled to himself as he went through his daily routine after breakfast with cleaning the entire house. However, he had become, in the past week, quicker and more efficient in doing his chores. Not only that, but thanks to his dedication and numerous cooking sites, his Thai cuisine was getting better. Finishing his cleaning, he proceeded to make lunch. Today, he was going to Gun's café by hook or by crook!
