27 March 2019, 8th mini album

Album fun facts:
~[1] the album title is like the word "genius" meaning that Pentagon wants to be geniuses with their music, but also that they want to be like a genie for their fans. In the physical album there's a pop-up image of Pentagon like a genie coming out of a lamp.
~[2] Hui wrote 7 songs as potential title tracks. He says usually songs that were written as title tracks but weren't selected end up forgotten on his computer. Sometimes they can't even find those songs anymore because the titles are weird/random.

Sha La La (title)
~[1] Hui described this song as an extension of Shine (Positive) and Naughty Boy (Thumbs Up!). The message is intended to relieve stress from work, school, etc.

Lost Paradise (hip-hop unit - Hui, Yuto, Kino, Wooseok)
~[1] After they finished composing it, they didn't have any lyrics for it yet so Kino sang a guide track with nonsense placeholder lyrics. The original lyrics instead of "lost paradise" was "asparagus". Kino asked Wooseok to try singing that part, and it fit Wooseok so well that they almost decided to keep the "asparagus" lyric and make the theme steak with asparagus.
~[2] the message of this song is that even when things look hopeless, there is still a little "paradise" left in your heart.

'Till... (ballad unit - Jinho, Hongseok, Shinwon, YeoOne, Yanan)

Alien
~[1] the message of this song is about being unique, such as Pentagon's determination to be unique with their music.
~ protip: if you look this song up on youtube, you need to be more specific than just "pentagon alien".

Spring Snow
~[1] by Kino, dedicated to Universe
~[2] reminiscing about Shine era, because Shine MV was filmed in spring and it snowed (see Positive)
~ see Road to Kingdom

Round 1
~[1] this is the first song that all 9 members wrote together.
~[2] Hongseok changed his lyrics twice because they were worried listeners might misunderstand or be upset, but the members have said that this song is fun for them and they aren't upset/offended by the lyrics.
~[3] there's a video on YouTube called "pentagon round 1 lyrics explanation" that explains some of the roasts
