One Bite

Chapter 16

Skye POV

I slowly start to wake up and feel pain in my back and also my belly. I put my hand on my belly to feel my babies but I notice it has gone down a bit, I panic and sit up so quickly looking around the room hoping I have not been taken. I notice I am in the pack hospital but where are my babies?

I am panicking so much my heart rate monitor starts bleeping and all of a sudden the door opens so fast and Elijah is by my side in an instant.

Elijah - Are you okay love? You had me so worried!

Skye – Were are my babies?

Elijah – Love it is okay they are safe next to you in the crib, look (pointing to the crib).

Skye – Thank god!

I am so happy they are okay, I start to get out of the bed to hold my babies but Elijah stops me.

Elijah – Easy love, you should be resting.

Skye – I have rested so much! I want to hold my babies! Please help me up.

Elijah – Sure love but take it slow, you lost a lot of blood.

Skye – I will.

Elijah helps me out of the bed and I walk over to the crib and see my beautiful babies fast to sleep. I then notice they are wrapped in a blue blanket and my heart melts.

They are so precious.

Skye – TWIN BOYS (turning to Elijah with tears in my eyes)

Elijah – (Tearing up with Skye). Yes love two amazing princes.

Skye - They are beautiful! I do not want to wake them.

Elijah – They are amazing! You did good mummy (smiling at Skye). Also they should wake up soon for there feed.

Skye – We both did good daddy (smiling at him). (Panicking). Who fed them while I was out and how?

Elijah – Relax love! I fed them bottles because you are not able to produce enough because they are a little early. They are perfectly fine and took the bottles right away.

Skye – How did you manage to do both at the same time?

Elijah – Very easily, baby 1 on the left wakes up about 10 minutes before baby 2 so I get him fed first.

Skye - Well I am awake now so it will be easier. They are so precious! Have you named them yet?

Elijah – No love I was waiting for you (smiling).

Skye – (Smiling) thank you love.

We sit and discuss baby names as well as feed them and change them when they wake up. After an hour of having cuddles and discussing baby names we have chosen we head downstairs to show them to the pack and announce there names.

Elijah – Ready my love?

Skye – I was born ready (laughing).

Elijah POV

Once we have decided everything I mind linked the pack and ask them to meet us in the living room. We make our way downstairs and see everyone there and they are all excited to meet them. We walk in the room and everyone cheers and congratulates us, which ends up waking our little boys up and now they are crying in there slings.
