Milia's POV
'Milia, sweetie, wake up, pack your things,' Mom's voice woke me up from my slumber the next day.

'Pack my things? Where are we going?' I looked at Mom, confused.

'You're going to Demi's,' she smiled sadly.

Fuck. It's Sunday.

'I'm not going,' I laid back down in bed.

'You are going, there's no choice. It's just for the summer break,' she sighed.

'Either you go or no electronics for the rest of the year!'

I groaned and sat up.

'Fine, I'll go.'

'Thank you sweetie, be down in 10, Demi's waiting downstairs,' she planted a kiss on my forehead before leaving. I sighed and went to pack.

-*-*-
I walked downstairs in my sweatshirt and trackpants, barely glaring at Demi as she made a face at me. I rolled my eyes and walked over to the rest of my family, dropping my things.

I first hugged Dallas.

'I'm gonna miss you, Dal,' I buried my head into her chest as she hugged me back tightly.

I then hugged Maddie.

'Mads, I'm gonna miss you so much, I love you.'

Finally, Mom and Dad.

'I'll miss you guys.'

We all said our final goodbyes as I followed Demi out of the door. That was when I realised my two missions had begun: one, to fix our relationship. two, not let her find out my secrets.

-*-*-

The car ride to her house was silent, other than her ocassionally humming to the songs on the radio.

Talentless.

Worthless.

The demons consumed my mind during the whole ride as I played with my hands, not being able to cut.

I stayed like this for an hour until Demi cleared her throat.

'We're here, rat,' she said, annoyed.

Seriously, what the fuck is wrong with her? I didn't even open my mouth. I sighed and got out of her car.

I looked at the outside of her house. Nothing new, it's still as big as 5 years ago. Did I forget to tell you that she's 26 this year? Yup, she got this house at 21. This house held so much good memories, but I guess Demi forgot them all.

As the door opened, I walked past Demi and up to my room. I closed the door quietly, to avoid her from shouting.

Once I was done unpacking my items, I went down. Yes, went down to look fo Demi. I was willing to fix our relationship sooner than later. I went down to see Demi on the couch, using her phone.

'Demi?' I asked quietly.

'What?' She spat, head snapping in my direction.

My gaze dropped to the ground, while mumbling, 'I just wanted to fix our relationship, I miss the times when we were close.'

I turned around and darted up to my room, shutting the door behind me. I sat on my bed, hot tears streaming down my cheeks silently. Well, at least I tried.

No one loves you.

Useless freak.

I went into the bathroom and gave into the demons, again.

Demi's POV
I sat on the couch, scrolling through Twitter as Amilia came down. I groaned internally, why the fuck is she so clingy?

'Demi?'

'What?' I spat back at her. As soon as she lowered her gaze, my face softened.

'I just wanted to fix our relationship, I miss the times when we were close,' she mumbled as she ran back to her room.

Her words hit me like a ton of bricks. She was right. I completely forgot that we were close when we were younger.

-FLASHBACK-

'Dem-dems, why don't we slide down the stairs?' Milia smiled up at me.

'Of course, Mi-Mi,' I smiled as I went to take out a matress.

We sat on the matress before sliding down the stairs slowly. It went on for a good hour before we went for ice cream.

'Are you going to love me forever?' Milia looked down and asked. I gasped.

'What makes you think I will stop loving you? I'll never, ever stop loving you, baby-girl,' I lifted up her chin.

'Pinky promise?'

'Pinky promise.'

-END OF FLASHBACK-

I'll never, ever stop loving you, baby-girl.

Pinky promise.

I broke her promise.

I'm sorry Milia, I love you.
