(y/n)'s POV

I got got home. no one was home. I sighed "good..I didn't want to talk to anyone about today.." I sighed and went to my room. I started to put the things Axel (my now ex-boyfriend) gave me in a box and called him. he answered "hey. meet me at my house. I have something for you" he agrees.

I hear a knock and I open the door to see Axel. I push the box into his hands. "whats this?" he asks, looking at the box. "all the shit you gave me. I burned your pictures. if you want the ashes, feel free to ask" I say, sarcasticly. I shut the door in his face. I opened it again "oh yeah. I forgot" I look at him sraight in the eyes and flipped him off, sending a spark of fire on the box. the box cought on fire and he screamed, dropping the box. we wached it burn into nothing and then I put the fire off with my water quirk, soaking him with it "hey!" he yelled at me. "sorry, I was trying to get only you, not the box. good bye and fuck you" I say and slam the door shut. I lock the door and made a silent outh 'I will become the number 1 hero just to prove him and father wrong' I walk up to my room and lied down. I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep.

I was sitting in the livingroom. I was about 13. my father came in and slapped me. "what the heck?!" I yelled. I looked at him and could tell he was drunk..again..I sighed, knowing what was going to happen. he screamed at me about how I was weak and unlovable and ugly for about an hour. he hit me a few times and then leaft the house to go see Endeavor. this happened almost every night. he was finally arrested when I was 15. My mother couldn't do anythihg about the situation because she was protecting Anna and herself. I was happy that Anna was safe from him.

I woke up to my phone ringing. I checked the time. '5:50' I'd have to wake up in 10 minutes eather way. I answered the caller with a tired "hello?"

"hello, hello! this is Nezu from UA High! are you coming back today? you leaft in quite a rush yesterday"

"uh..yeah. yeah, I'm going to school today. I was also wondering if I could stay at UA?..."

"ah! yes, you can! we would love for you to excange schools! I will speak to your gardien and get a dorm room ready for you. goodbye!" aand he hung up. again. I sigh and rool out of bed, canceling my alarm.

I walk up to the gates in my uniform. I got a sligtly longer skirt that I was more comfertable in. I wanted pants though..I sighed and walked onto campus. It was still early so I sat down under a tree. I leaned my back on it and took out my headphones. I started making a new music. I was humming the tune when I noticed someone was standing in front of me. I took my headphones of, resting them around my neck and looked up to see Mirio. "oh. hey" I greet him without a smile. "good morning!" he says. a smile slowly creeps onto my lips and a unplug my headphones "alright. tell me what you think of this" I play the music and he looks surprised. I stop it before it gets to the part I need to work on. he looks at me "It's..really good" someone calls ro him. he smiles and waves at me before he walks away.  I smile "I thought that was really good.." I hear a soft voice say. I jump and look over to see Tamaki. he had his hands in his pockets and was looking down "oh. good morning!" I say with a small smile. he looks shy and a little flustered "h-hi.." he answers, shyly. "you want to sit down?" I smile up at him. he sits beside me, but not too close. ahhh he has socail anxiaty, huh?.."I'm sorry if I'm a little weird..I'm not good with people" I tell him, attempting to make him feel more comfertable. "..you arn't?..but you seem really nice and outgoing.." he says quietly. I shrug "a little bit, I guess. I get really nervouse when I talk to other people. but this always calms me down" I reach out in front of me and make a bubble of water. I hold the water in the air and evaporate it, making relaxing steam with my fire. I look over at Tamaki and he's looking at where the water was in slight shock "whoa.." he says. I smile "cool, right?" I ask him and he nods.

he and I talk for a little bit untill a girl with long, blue hair runs over to us. "Tamaki!! there you are!" he tenses a little "hi, Nejire.." he says quietly. she looks over to me and her smile widens "oh hii!! your new, right? whats your name? whats your quirk? how do you know Tamaki? how old are you? do you like anyone? ooh your hair is so pretty! what do you use?" she blasts me with questions. I look over at Tamaki and he looks at me with slight sympathy. he presses his forehead agenst the tree and I smile awkwardly at the girl "uh..hi? I-I'm (y/n)..I-I'm new to class 3-A..I sit next to you.. a-and my quirk is water and fire controle.." I tell her. "oohh what a pretty name! fire and water, huh? can you use them at the same time? can y-"

I put myself in a bubble of water with my quirk, instinctively, my anxiaty working up even more. I can't hear anyone but myself and the sounds of the water. I can see Tamaki and the girl staring at me. Tamaki says something and the girl looks a bit sad. she gets up and walks away. I close my eyes for a minute. I open my eyes again. I look up and see Mirio talking to Tamaki. I look over at Tamaki and he looks nervouse. I take a deep breath and evaporate my bubble.

I'm perfectly dry when I do. "-okay?" I hear Mirio ask. "uh.." Tamaki looks over at me. I stand up and smile at Tamaki. "hi, Mirio" I look at the taller boy and pick up my bag. "what where you doing?" he asks. I pause and think "uh.." I look over at Tamaki and then back at Mirio "I was showing Tamaki my water quirk." I lie, not wanting to tell him about my anxiaty. he looks through the lie though "your lieing. what where you really doing?" he asks. I sigh and roll my eyes "pushy, much..I was having an anxiaty attack, okay? thats all you need and will know" I grab my bag and start walking away. I stop and turn to Tamaki "I'll see you later, k?" I smile and wave at Tamaki.
