N's POV

Tears are flowing from my eyes and covering my mouth after hearing everything that Mike revealed to me. I don't even want to look at him; I need to focus on my thoughts and reflect.

First of all, I can't believe that my real name is Njau. I don't even know what it stands for, but it fits perfectly for me. No longer I have to refer to myself as N.

After decades of trying to figure out where I come from, I'm glad to know that I am from Sierra Leone. I did learn about the country when I self-taught myself as a growing adult. But all I mostly took away is that they were slaves, there were ethnic cleansing going on, blood diamonds, and war. After what Mike told me, my country is more than that. It has beautiful languages, culture, and people. After all this, I will continue to learn about my country.

The best information he gave to me were my parents. I finally got to learn about them. They were both vampires, which means I was always a bloodsucker. They were loving, protective, hilarious, strict, supportive, and they made for a perfect couple. I could picture them right now in my head. I wish I could hug them and tell them how they mean so much to me.

But sadly, I can't. It's all thanks to the real killer, G. Adams. I don't know if he's still alive or not. I don't know if he still lives in Virginia or lives somewhere else. I don't know if he still works as a police officer. But all that matters is that I hate him. I must know more information about him. I don't care how long it takes me; I will find and kill him.

Before I head out, I need to ask Mike if he still knows about Adams and his whereabouts. Also, I need to teach him a lesson. I turn around and confront him, wiping my tears in the process.

"I told you everything you need to know. Now, are you going to let all of us go?!" He shouts, aggressively moves the chair. His family members are trying to yell, but the tape is silencing their voices.

"No, I'm not letting your family go. There's still more information I need you to tell me." I tell him. His family continues to whimper and freakout. He looks at them, signaling to stay calm. They stop yelling, but their eyes are filled with fear and sadness.

"What more do you want to know?" He asks, giving me a desperate pleading look.

"I need to know more about G. Adams and his whereabouts. He's the guy that killed my family and ruined my life. I'm not leaving until I get what I want. So you better start talking." I explain to him. He sighs and starts speaking.

"His name is George Adams; he worked for the Charlottesville Police Department since the mid-90s. Then in 2003, he became and the commissioner of Charlottesville." He explains.

"That's it? Do you know where he lives?" I ask.

"I don't know where he lives; I haven't seen him since 2017. All I do know is that he is still the commissioner. So you can find him in Charlottesville. You should check the police department; his office is there. Now I told you everything, so can you please let us go?" He explains some more and begs.

"Before I leave, I got six more questions."

He rolls his eyes and groans.

"The first question I want to know is, why did you guys raid our house when you know that we weren't criminals?" I question him.

"The lieutenant at the time gave us directions on the area that the robbery took place, and it happened in your neighborhood. George thought he had the right address. I wasn't expecting him to go berserk and murder your family." He explains.
