Chapter 9

Kai

I was currently sleeping and I wake up to someone screaming. I hear footsteps rush to the screamer I quickly rush over too. It was Adora in Kayda's room we were all confused on what was happening.

"What happened sweetie? What's wrong?" Her mom says in a concerning tone. She then pulls out a piece of red hair. Her dad takes it from her and sniffs it then rushes inside her room, she's gone. 

"Mom, dad take Adora somewhere safe." Her dad demands. The grandparents take the Crying Adora. " Honey call Talia and the warriors, Alpha's can you get some of you tracks to find my daughter." He demands everyone. Dad and I nod.

"Where is Kayda?" I ask him.

"Demons took her." He says in frustration.

"What!? How!? Why!?" My mom says

"No time to explain, let's move." He demands. There is concern in his eyes. I mind link my strongest trackers and warriors as well to come to the palace to look for their missing Luna. After an hour James picks up her scent. He mind links me and tells me. I tell her dad, mom and Talia, we all rush over to where James picked up her scent. Then I get a head breaking headache I groan in pain holding my head. Is Kayda in pain. They look at me knowing something is wrong with Kayda I quickly shake it off and pick up her strong orangey scent and so does everyone else, we quickly follow the scent.

After 12 hours of running we come across a medium size house. It was dark outside already. I see a girl walk out the house we all get on the ground and cover our scents so we're not spotted. Then I feel a strong pain all over my torso I try not to scream from how much it hurts. Everyone looks at me, someone is hurting her then we hear a ear piercing scream,it's her. I'm coming baby just hold on for a bit more.

Kayda

I wake up to a sharp pain all over my torso. It's 5 out of 6 demons stabbing me with daggers. I let out a ear piercing scream making them take out the daggers and hold their ears. I quickly heal my wounds breathing heavy. But it doesn't stop there they keep going punching and stabbing me.

This keeps going on for 20 more minutes until we hear a crash upstairs. I pick up Kai's scent I've never been so happy to smell that dork but I also smell Mama, Papa and Talia. The demons rush upstairs. Also while talking to Nyx, she told me hat my power was limited in these chains so that means no super strength. I start hearing the sweet sounds of death then I hear Kai's running my way. He finally comes across my cell a smile of relief spreads on his face, he frees me from the chains by breaking them. He hugs me tightly I do the same.

"I love you so much Kayda." He says putting his head on mine. That's the first time he said I love you. No fair I wanted to say it first but he's cute so I'm gonna let it pass.

"I love you too Kai." I sigh of happiness.

I plant my lips of him and he quickly kisses me back both of us having a smile on our faces.

"Ehem sorry for interrupting you two but we have to get going now. You can fuck later." Talia interrupts. Roll my eyes and suddenly Kai picks me up bridal style. I look up at him only to find him smirking at me. "You're not leaving my side anymore my queen." He says smirking making me blush. After 12 hours we finally make it back home. Mama insisted on me getting checked up by the palace doctor and so I do. She told me that I just needed some rest because the daggers that those low life's use on me cause some damage but that I would me fine my tomorrow.

I go downstairs to get something to eat because I haven't eaten anything since yesterday. After I ate, I hear a laughing Adora I walk over to the living room only to find my mate and her playful dolls together on the floor. That shit was the cutest thing I've ever seen my heart melted at the view of them. Adora looks at me and runs over to me crying.

"Don't ever leave like that Cake. I was scared." She says sobbing onto my chest. I caress her head and kiss it telling her sorry. I ended up playing dolls with her and Kai. After an hour she gets sleep my and I pick her up and take her to her room with Kai by my side. We put her in bed and I kiss her forehead Good night. Then me and Kai get ready for bed and since I want to cuddle I go to his room. When I open the door I see my shirtless mate patting his wet hair dry, I would be lying if I didn't say it was one of the many things that turn me on.

"Like what you see love." He says smugly.

"Like would be an understatement." I say coming closer to him. I brush my hands on his wet body counting each abs. There are 8 of then btw.

"The doctor says that I have to rest up so there no mating today baby. I'm sorry that I'm making you wait." I say looking up at his forest colored eyes.

"It's fine baby I can wait. All I care about right now is that you're safe." He says with complete truth in in his eyes. I smile at him and he caresses my face.

"She said no mating but she never said that we couldn't have a hot make out session." I smirk at him and he smirks back. We rush over to the bed and I get on him straddling him and smash our lips together. He smacks my ass and I moan in response slipping our tongues into each other's mouth. I start to grind on him hard making him moan. He holds my hips down making me grinding harder. Moans filling up the room. We part our lips to breathe.

"Please let me mark you baby." He begs me. I nod eagerly. He smiles and starts to kiss my neck then he grows his canines and sinks them into the base of my neck making me moan in both pain and pleasure.
he quickly reacts them then licks over the area. It soon heals leaving a pretty bite mark on me.

"Let me mark you too." I say. He smiles and nods. "Just a warning this might hurt a little." I smile then take out my claws and scratch his back leaving a big scar on his back, hearing him whisper out a small "fuck".

"You ok babe?" I giggle

"Yeah I just didn't know that's how dragons mark their mates." He croaks out a chuckle

"Well now you know." I laugh

We laugh a little and look at each other with glowing eyes. We say I love you at the same time and with that we fall asleep in each other's arms.
