Chapter 10

I wake up and see my lover snuggled up to my chest I kiss his forehead and ruffle his sexy black hair. Nyx was very content with being marked last night. Kai hugs my waist tighter pulling me closer. His green eyes slowly open to look at my blue ones.

"Good morning stupid." I giggle ruffling his messy bed hair.

"Good morning idiot." He chuckles in his delicious husky voice. I give him a small kiss and try to get out of bed but he pulls me in.

"No!! Stay and cuddle with me me!!" He whines in his sexy morning voice.

"Baby as much as I'd love too. I have attended my final princess duties to become queen and I know you have Alpha duties and paperwork to finish. Plus I'll be seeing you tonight. So stop being so cute and let's get ready ok." I say.

"Fine. But only because I love you." He huffs out.

As I walk out he quickly gets his toothbrush and comes with me to my bathroom I roll my eyes and keep walking.

"You're a big softie aren't ya." I say

"I'm only a softie around you and Adora." He says

We brush our teeth and change then head to the kitchen to eat breakfast. Everyone was already there and when we enter their heads snap to us like we did something wrong.

"What?" I ask

"Did you mark each other?" Mama asks

We nod our heads yes then everyone starts high fiving and whooping with excitement. Kai puts his hand on my waist I look up and smile at him and give a quick kiss. We sit down next to each other and start eating with everyone but I decide to tease Kai a little bit. I put my hand on thigh and gently squeeze rubbing it up and down he completely stop eating and looks at me with a smirk no one notices though because of the loud chitchatting. He then puts his hand on my thigh and slides up close to touching my area I let out small gasp then he leans into my ear.

"You're so naughty and I love it but you gonna regret teasing me for 5 weeks." He lets out a low growl into ear making me shiver. I lean into his ear and growl "You should get ready for tonight because I don't go down without a fight." Smirking at him. He bites his bottom lip and says "Bet."

After we finished breakfast Kai and his pack went back home to do their job. I went with Papa and Talia to train with warriors, I went with Mama know more about the economics and what we currently need to increase and decrease around the kingdom, I went with Grandpa for archery and meditation, I went with Grandma for magic and element bending, and lastly I went with Adora for a lunch picnic and teach her more flying. I was very busy today. After the all that I fall onto my bed letting out a sigh of relief that my day was semi over.

"Hey baby how you holding up today?" Kai asks through the mind link.

"Well I feel like I was ran over by 3 eighteen wheelers but good. How are you? I can only imagine the amount of paperwork you had to go through." I say

"I didn't realize how distracted I was with you until now. The amount of paperwork I had let build up is crazy. Oh I'm good but I could use some cuddles." He says that last part with a whine.

"Are you done for today?" I ask.

"Yeah I am why?"  He asks.

"Let's finish this teasing game once and for all please." I say seductively

"I on my way princess." He says before turning off the mind link

I'm currently wait for Kai at the front gate of my palace I pick up a rainy forest like scent and run off to find him. Once I spot him I jump into his arms he spins me around I give him a quick kiss and run then I grab his arm and run into the forest that's near my castle. After an hour of running through the twilight forest we finally make it at the entrance of my cave. We hold hand and walk in, while walking through the cave I stop to look at the the view it's been awhile since I've been here.
