16. Rescued And Hint

    It's been three hours and everyone was at the edge feeling tensed. Even though Nandu lied to her grandmother staying in Jaggu's house she was tensed. A thin layer glistened her eyes almost forming a tear. 

    Druv just accompanied to help everyone but from the morning he had been following Nandini hiding from everyone. It was not the attraction, he was finding every reason to find Nandini more appealing than Aliya.

    Druv didn't know why he couldn't remove the image of Aliya crying and asking him to give a second chance to their relation. He thought going behind Nandini and trying to convince his brain that there are more pretty girls than Aliya.

    Little did Druv know that Aliya just didn't pierce his brain but she had made place inside the pumping blood organ and he couldn't remove it. He had totally forgotten that the relation with Aliya started with her way of attitude towards Druv rather than beauty.

    Druv was confused why was he not attracted to Nandini as before because every time he saw her Aliya would come in front of him. Then his heart would make a weird comparison of both and reject Nandini that she is not the one.

    Aliya had called Druv to talk privately and she had revealed that she wanted to give second chance to the relation but Druv had outright rejected even when she cried and begged. From that time all he could think was Aliya's vulnerable state.

    Suddenly the chaos began in the precinct. A constable called Nandu to reveal somethings.

Police: Mam, The SI had called they caught the culprit but they had swallowed the pill and there was a spot death but was able to save your friend along with some girls.

   Nandu relieved a breath hearing the news. She thanked her Ayappa 100 times for saving her friends. 

Nandu: Thank you so much, sir.

   After waiting for an hour they welcomed Jaggu whose hair was dishevelled, she had turned red with the amount of crying. When Jaggu saw her friends she ran and hugged Ritu who just held Jaggu tightly.

   Ritu was a jolly person but when her loved ones are harmed she would turn numb and her brain would stop working. This was a reaction she gave after 4 hours. Manik and Kabir decided to stay in the home and cover-up for Ritu and Nandu.

   Even though Manik wanted to argue but seeing Nandu with so much worry he kept quiet. Aryaman and Maddy brought some milk and lemon rice from the nearby stall for Jaggu who was now seated between her friends.

   As Jaggu was not in the state to hear anything, the SI decided to call Nandu and explain certain things. Jaggu was acting a bit jumpy. Whenever someone called she would hold Ritu tightly before responding. 

SI: So may I know the relation between you and Miss..... Jagruti

      The SI searched for the name in the file.

Nandu: Sir, I am her friend from childhood. If you have anything to say please say it to me.

SI: Where are her parents?

    The SI was really confused. Usually, parents would be doing a big mess outside the police station for not finding their daughter but when he saw that her neighbour and friends came for her he was really curious.

Nandu: They had a very ugly divorce. Both didn't want Jaggu, so her grandmother, that is Jaggu's grandmother made my grandmother as Jaggu's guardian before dying.

SI: Sorry to hear that. But I wanted to inform you that we may call Miss. Jagruti to station for enquiry and now even CBI is involved in the case.

Nandu: Sorry sir, but we are stying in Mangalore for only 4 days from tomorrow. We all live in Mumbai and have college there. For Diwali celebrations, we came here.
