Shrikant was having his drink. He never had a drinking habit until Nyonika changed suddenly which he felt was seeing a different woman since then. He just shook his head to get rid of those thoughts.

For him, the only thing now mattered was his son. He had made a mistake by handing over Manik to his so-called wife but he was not ready to repeat that mistake.

Nyonika: Why are you here?! I thought we went separate ways years ago!

Nyonika was irritated that her years of sweeping money from her Ex-husband will stop now. She was careful enough to make Shrikant victim in her emotional game but today she felt that she is seeing someone else.

Shrikant smirked at Nyonika. Even after years she remained the same, selfish, cunning, and making others feel guilty even when there was no mistake of the person.

Shrikant: FYI Nyo, this is my house and I can come here whenever I want.

It was true, even though he handed some of the shares in his companies and other properties but never gave her the mansion which was precious to him. It was the same mansion he took when he made his first profit, it was not just a mansion for him it was the temple of memories.

Nyonika: Ok, Why have you come after all these years?

She just wanted to get rid of Shrikant. It took her a deal to send him away from her but couldn't send Manik as he was the main connection to Shrikant.

   Looking at Nyonika, Shrikant smirked.

Shrikant: Ex-Mrs. Malhotra only the close quarters know that we are divorced and I think you would want your reputation intact as you have taken the deal from Richard in my name.

Nyonika didn't have any choice so just walked away from there.

Manik saw all this and sighed. He wanted to show that he was upset with his father but hell with his acting, he was too emotional staying with Nandini and now the tears which just escaped couldn't be hidden.

    'Again Nandini' his brain reminded

Shrikant: Manik

He didn't go just headed to his room

Shrikant: I am sorry

That broke every restraint Manik had. He ran to his father hugging him tightly. Even Shrikant couldn't control the flow of emotions. After what felt like years they both separated from the hug.

Manik: How are you?

Shrikant: I am fine. I know you are not fine. I heard from my men that you had broken up yesterday.

Instantly Manik's face fell. Shrikant cursed himself for being insensitive in the matter.

Shrikant: Come we will talk in my study.

Manik followed his father to his study. Even though Shrikant never visited, his study was clean, with some bookshelf, a laptop, and Shrikant's favorite ink pen.

Shrikant: I know what happened yesterday. So I am sending you to live a life of Nandini.

Manik was befuddled with the erudition. Why would he live Nandini's life? He loves Nandini and it doesn't matter to him from which lifestyle she is.

   Shrikant smiled at his son.

Shrikant: Manik, in every relationship it is important to know each other. I know you both think you know each other but there always remains something which both are unware. I feel you leading a middle-class lifestyle will make you learn more about Nandini.
