Chapter 10

Lexi's POV

I was the first to wake the next morning, so I slipped out of Jordan's grasp, immediately feeling the cold hit me as I pulled on my boots and headed to the privy. After I finished my business, I saw AJ getting out of bed, but everyone else was still asleep.

"Wanna start some breakfast?" AJ whispered to me, making sure he woke nobody else up as I nodded and we both headed to the main camp area.

"So, how do you feel in the camp so far? Up to your expectations?" I asked him.

"I mean yeah, it's all I imagined really, rough living place but long-lasting friendships made inside of it you know?" He replied.

"Yeah I understand you. You know, I really like to think of you as the big brother I never had, I've always wanted one." I told him.

"I'd be happy to be your older brother, I've actually always wanted a younger sister, I only have a brother, not that he's a bad brother." He smiled at me, hugging me which I replied to.

"Better not be stealing her Pritchard." I heard Jordan joke as he walked in.

"I was just telling him how he's the older brother I never had." I said, pulling away from AJ and wrapping my arms around Jordan.

"If I'm gonna be your older brother I'm not gonna wanna see my little sister snogging her boyfriend." AJ joked.

"Well you better leave fast." I teased as I locked lips with Jordan, which he immediately replied to, both of us melting into the passionate kiss, grinning against each others lips. We heard a gagging noise behind me as we finally pulled away from the kiss after 15 seconds for air.

"I should've just left.." AJ chuckled nervously as he turned back to the breakfast that was still cooking on the fire.

"You should still." Jordan replied as he locked lips with me again, both of us fighting the option to go further than just kissing.

"Okay you cook this food I'm out!" AJ rushed as he ran back into the bedroom where everyone was waking up.

"Do we have to cook? I just wanna kiss you all day." I whined as he pecked my forehead.

"We can just let it burn, but wouldn't it be better making out later with not completely empty stomachs?" He whispered in my ear with his sexy, deep morning voice.

"I can't say no to that beautiful morning voice." I giggled as I turned around and stirred the beans around so the bottoms of them wouldn't burn as Jordan just observed, hugging me from behind.

"So you finished sucking each others faces off?" AJ asked as he walked back to us with Shane and Vernon.

"Just about." Jordan winked as turned me around and locked lips with me one more time, for around 5 seconds, before walking off to the privy.

"You two are so cute and clingy but so cringe I don't know how to feel about it, sick or in awe." Vernon joked as he came up to me and offered to take over with the food, which I replied to quite quickly.

"I think it's cute personally." Gi said as she entered the main area and Jordan returned.

"So where's Mo? Is he up yet?" Jordan asked.

"I think he's waking up now." Shane said.

"I'm sure he'll get through the trial, he's a strong guy."  Vernon commented as he sat down, letting the beans and rice cook.

Everyone began conversation about our lives like how many medals Hollie had actually won and then things like Russell's tumours and how he had seen light, and more things like that.
