Chapter Twenty Two

Recap From Last Time:

As soon as my mom saw that Brandon had been crying she rushed over and pulled him into a huge hug probably crushing the poor boy. “What happened? Why have you been crying? It better not be because of Aiden.” she rambled on, giving me a stern look when she said the last part. Like I would honestly make the boy of my dreams cry. Come on mom. 

“It’s nothing Mrs. Summers, and trust me, this has nothing to do with Aiden. He was actually making me feel better.” Brandon told her, sending me a look that said thanks. 

I sent him a wink back just so he knew I was always going to be there to pick him up with he falls down, when he is upset and when he is having problems with anything. I am always going to be there for him. No matter what. 

Travis’ POV 

I was woken up by the sound of Brandon and Aiden noisily coming into the room that I was currently sleeping in. I opened my eyes and realized that I was in Aiden’s living room still. When did I fall asleep? I was supposed to go home last night. Oh well to late now, but it really ticks me off that Amy didn’t even think to try and wake me up when she went home. I feel like I can’t ever count on her. That’s why I haven’t told her my deep dark secret that I haven’t told anyone. 

I have been thinking about telling Brandon and Aiden. They are my best friends and it is amazing to me how connected these two seem to be. I mean, I know that they have been best friends since forever but I didn’t ever in my lifetime ever see them getting together, let alone being so cute together. 

I had a feeling in the beginning when I started hanging out with them that Aiden was into Brandon but I honestly didn’t think that he would act on it. And now that they are together I think that I might be able to tell them with confidence that they wont hate that I am gay as well. I hope that they will take it well. I mean, why wouldn’t they?

While I was in my own little world thinking about how they would take the news that I am gay, they started to watch a movie in the living room. Mrs. Summers must have gotten me a blanket before she went to bed because the one that is covering me now is the softest blanket I have ever felt. She is one of the nicest ladies I have ever met. I wish my mom was as cool as her. My mom is alright but she is defiantly not Mrs. Summers cool.

It looks like they are starting Fast and the Furious. That is honestly one of my favorite movies. Paul Walker is a fucking hottie. It is such a shame what happened to him. He was one of my favorite actors. Blonde hair and blue eyes are my weakness.

I looked over at the two of them cuddled up on the couch and felt something in the pit of my stomach, jealousy. I am happy for the two of them and the fact that they are together now but I am so jealous that they can be like that in front of people and be so open about it. I have been keeping this secret since I was 13. I am 18 now. 

Aiden and Brandon must have felt my eyes on them because they began to stare back at me. Aiden’s face showed concern and Brandon’s said the same thing. I knew that they were going to start to ask me questions if I didn’t change the subject. So causally I ask, “So what are we watching?” already knowing the answer.
