Coltons pov
Last night me and laura were watching a movie on the couch and i guess we fell asleep. I woke up and checked my phone it was 4am so i picked laura up bridal style and carried her to her room i kissed her on her forehead and tucked her in then was about to go to my room "colton will you stay with me" she said half asleep. "Yea babe of course" so then i layed down under the covers. "Im freezing we should of had a blanket while we were watching the movie" she spoke softly. I wrapped my arms around her and she snuggled into my chest. A short moment later she was sound asleep and thats all i remeber. I woke up about 10am because of the sun shining in lauras window. Thats something i wasnt use to because i had a blanket over my window. I rolled over and laura wasnt in bed and just as I wondered were she was she came through the door with a tray.
Lauras pov
"Good morning baby" "good morning babe" he replied. His morning voice was so attractive it was raspy. "I got up early with mom and she was making breakfast so i helped her and i decided to bring it to you"
Coltons pov
"Thanks.... " i was cut off "no no im sorry i didnt mean mom i meant your mom im sorry" she said with out a pause. I took the tray from her and sat it on the bed side table then grabbed her around the waist "shes your mom to shes our mom!" "Okay babe our mom" she repeated. Then i pecked her on the lips and rolled her on to the bed then knelt over her one knee on each side of her hips. "You're beatiful" "you're handsome" she smirked. "I love you" "i love you more batman" "oh is this a challenge because i think i will win" "then prove it i dare you" "maybe i will" then i leaned down and started to kiss her. She then wrapped her arms around my neck and kissed me back. Our lips moved in sync for the longest time then i had to pull away to catch my breath. "Babe does that prove it" "you know im not quit sure i think your going to have to kiss me again"
Lauras pov
I challenged colton again. I was hoping he would kiss me again. When colton kissed me i felt like me and him had this secret place to be together and that took us to it. I was brought out of my thoughts when coltons lips came in contact with mine again and right as i started to kiss him back we were interrupted by schyler clearing her voice behind us so me and colt stoped kissing and he got off me.
Schylers pov
" umm... I just came up here to see if laura wanted to go to the store with me to pick up some stuff for mom but i see you guys are busy so i will go by myself." Then i started to leave the room. "Schy no wait i will come just give me a few minutes to get ready i will meet you downstairs" "okay"
Lauras pov
"I wonder why she seemed so annoyed" "i dont really know but im sure its nothing" colton reassured me. "Okay i got to go get ready"
Schylers POV
When Laura finally came down stairs we got in the car and headed to the store when we got there we split up then I heard a scream I didn't know who it was but I went to help a few aisles over I saw Laura wrestling on the ground with some guy
Laura's pov
I was just walking around the store when I heard some one say my name that voice haunted me, I turned around and it was my foster dad he looked mad then he ran at me and grabbed my arm knocked me to the floor he tried to kiss me i could smell alcohol on his breath i pushed him away and he started hitting me in the stomach then I heard Schyler scream help then some cashier guys came over and ripped him off of me then schyler came over and knelt next to me I was bleeding "Laura I think we should go to the hospital" was all I heard then I blacked out.
Schylers pov
" I NEED HELP OVER HERE" i screamed. Then i dialed 911 after the dispatcher told me an ambulance was on there way i called colton. "Hey lil sis whats going on" "colton me lauras going to the hostpital. See when we got here..." "WHY? Is she okay" colton interupted me. "See thats the thing colt i dont know 911 is on there way right now" "what happened to her" "when we got to the store we split up i heard a scream and it was here i ran over there and some man was on the floor and she was trying to get away from him he was hitting her in the stomach and i screamed for help a store clerk pulled him off of her and took him into the holding room untill the cops got here. Then shortly after that she went unconscious but colt i got to go the ambulance is here meet me at the hostpital."
Coltons pov
I ran to the car as i was driving to the hostpital it flashed through my mind what if that was her foster dad! I was going to have to hurt him if he harmed my baby in anyway. I finally pulled up to the hostpital and they were rushing laura into the ICU. They stoped me and schyler at the doors and said "your going to have to wait out here untill we get her stablized" that was it all we seen of laura was here pale face getting smaller and smaller as they rushed her down the hallway and we were stopped behind the doors. I broke down into tears. "When i seen colton break into tears I grabbed him into a hug. Colton laura is going to be okay i have faith in god" laura reasured me. "Thanks schy its just hard that was here foster dad that did this to her i know it was and i promised her that i would protect her" "colton you didnt know this was going to happen its not your fault" "thanks schy"
Lauras pov (while she is unconscious)
I was finally getting use to the idea me and colton where going to be parents and then i had this vision - it was sunny and a beautiful day there was a gap in the clouds i seen angels surrounding it then one spoke "our father is ready to take your baby girl home to heaven i fell to the floor and started crying and i heard another soft voice so i looked up it was a beautiful little girl with blonde cuely hair but she had wings "mommy i will be in a better place up here let me go i will be okay i promise i have a beautiful grandma and grandpa up here that came home when you where a little girl"-then the vision was over my eyes opened slowly and my eyesight was blurry but i could see colton and i felt my hand in his.
Coltons pov
Laura slowly opened her eyes and tears started pouring down her face "i love you colton" "love you too snowflake the doctors said you should be able to go home tomorrow but i will be by yourside all night" i reasured her. "It was him colton it was him my foster dad that did this to me" right then the doctor walked in "Mr & Mrs Dixon we....." "Oh we arent married" laura told the doctor "yea we are just dating" i said " I apologize for my mistake but as i was saying the man that did this to you is in custody and he wont hurt you again" the doctor reasured laura then began to leave the room. "WAIT"laura said nervously. "Yes what is it" "i need someone to talk to like maybe a police officer i know who hurt me today and thats not the first time he hurt me! He was my foster dad and about a month ago i ran away from home to my friend coltons house because instead of just physically abusing me like he usually did the whole time i lived there he started sexually abusing me and i couldnt stand it. The whole time i was being physically abused colton tried with all he had to go rto the cops but I begged and begged him because if my foster dad found out i was scared for my life. However the night my foster dad raped me i snuck out my window to coltons i have been living there ever since and his parents are trying to get legal guardian ship of me. Then about a week ago i found out i was pregnant from my foster dad but im not for sure if i am because i took a home pregnacy test" laura said with tears pouring and I griped her hand tighter. "Yes i will get a hold of the police i recorded you telling me that and i will hand it to the police you seem kind of shaken up and i don't want you to have to tell it twice." "Okay thank you sir" "laura we can get you a test to see if you are for sure pregnant" "that would be great" "okay but we will have to do it tomorrow"then the doctor left the room.
Lauras pov
Colton can you get a nurse to help me to the bathroom "yes babe" when he came back he had a nurse with him "Hi miss laura I'm your nurse wendy how can i help you" "i need to use the restroom" she then helped me up and into a the restroom . As i was using the restroom i felt something pass in my urine and i gasp "is everything alright" Wendy asked "you know I'm not quit sure" then i stood up and went to wash my hands "miss laura were you pregnant" "I am pretty sure why" "Because see that little spot thats a grape sized fetus" i fell to the floor and broke into tears "Laura I'm sorry but it looks like you had a miscarriage " by that time colton entered the room and had his arms around me.
