𝐘/𝐧'𝐬 𝐏𝐎𝐕:

I was walking to the dungeons, towards the Slytherin common room, when I heard someone calling my name from a distance.

"Y/n! Y/n! Hold up!" I turned around to see the source of the voice, only to be greeted by a panting Cedric. "Yes, Cedric?" I asked, genuinely curious about what was so important that he was running after me like a dog that has lost it's owner.

"I was going to ask you something... but let me catch my breath first. You are fast, you know." I softly chuckled at his response. He was bent over, holding his knees and desperately trying to catch his breath.

Once he did, he looked nervous but tried to hide it with a 'confident' smile that I could see right through without even trying. I couldn't help but wonder what he wanted to ask.

"Y/n, will you go to the-" he was cut off by a certain blonde pushing him out of the way and interrupting him, rather rudely, I might add, before saying; "Out of my way, Jigglypuff." The blonde's face showed no emotion other than disgust as he said that.

When Cedric didn't move, making the platinum blonde glare at him like he was going to kill him right on the spot, he backed away and started walking the other direction. The blonde turned towards me and smiled, a genuine smile. It was extremely rare that the blonde smiled, but to me, it wasn't that out of ordinary. My lucky self got to see his beautiful smile daily.

I am his best friend after all... just his best friend.

His stupid best friend that fell in love with his perfect ass.

"What was that for, Draco?" I asked, confused at why he had interrupted Cedric, but not shocked by his actions, he hates Hufflepuffs after all. Well, he despises every other house other than his own.

"Uhmm nothing. Let's just go to the common room, shall we?"

What is happening? I thought to myself since the blonde had been acting a little strange lately, but I had always brushed it off, until now.

I was genuinely curious about why he was acting so strange but he left me no time to ask since he took my hand and led me to the dungeons, where I was headed to earlier on before Cedric had interrupted me.

He stopped before the entrance and whispered the password. Pure-blood. Even though we were alone you can never know and we don't want uninvited guests, now, do we?

The door opened, making a loud-ish noise. Just by the noise, you could tell the door was heavy, our common room was in the dungeons after all.

We walked to our common room and the first thing I did was to stare at the ceiling, looking up at the black lake. It never failed to fascinate me, the lake, the creatures and the plants inside of it. And with no doubt, us Slytherin's have the coolest common room out of all the others.

"Ok get ready. Then, I will take you somewhere, ok?" He said and looked at our still intertwined hands, letting go quickly. A blush covered his pale face and I chuckled a little at his cuteness.

"Sure, just wait here." I said, walking to my own private dorm. Ahh, perks of being a prefect. "I'm not going anywhere, love." He said and smiled at me. I smiled back before running up to my dorm and changing into a white long sleeved shirt and a tight, black dress that complimented my curves.

I put it on along with some shoes that matched with it and some silver jewellery before brushing my hair and going back down the stairs.

I walked down the stairs to find Draco standing by the fire, in his usual black suit. He looked nervous and in some state of thinking but snapped out of it when he heard my footsteps approaching closer.

"Oh umm Y/n you look umm gorgeous." He said, stuttering as heat started rising up to his pale cheeks once again.

I smiled and blushed a little but he didn't see it since he was busy fiddling with his fingers. "Thank you, Draco." I said, keeping my cool, even though I was smiling like an idiot.

He offered me his arm, which I gladly took and he led us out of the dungeons. Halfway through, we were at the quidditch pitch, when Draco gave me a blindfold and told me to put it on.

I already figured asking questions was no help, since he was dodging all of them, all he really said was; "It's a surprise. I promise it'll be worth it once we're there." Where can he possibly take me? I guess I have no choice but to listen to him now.

After a while of walking on some bumpy surfaces, which I am glad I didn't wear heels for, Draco told me I could open my eyes now.

When he took off the blindfold, I opened my eyes but closing them again because of the blinding light.

Once my eyes got used to the light, I opened them once again but this time completely, giving me a nice view of the picnic Draco had ready for us. That ferret... A huge grin spread across my face as I jumped into Draco's arms, hugging him tightly as he returned the favour.

"M'lady?" He said, holding his hand out for me after we pulled away from the hug. I giggled softly and took his offer as he led us to the picnic cover, which had our favorite foods on it, each placed neatly on individual plates.

We were eating and talking about the most random things but it was still fun to spend time with him, I enjoyed it and I knew he did too since he couldn't stop smiling.

While I was laughing at one of the jokes he made about Potter, I heard him clear his throat and a nervous look spread around his face.

"Uhhm... uh.. I.. uh. Well, this is harder than I thought." He chuckled nervously and let out a deep sigh. "What is it, Draco?" I asked, now getting worried.

"I-I like you. No, I fucking love you, Y/n." I was taken aback by his words but smiled almost instantly.

I grabbed his face gently and gave him a passionate kiss on the lips, which he was shocked by at first, but returned the favour gladly. After we pulled away, I looked into his stormy blue-ish grey eyes, the ones I could get lost in.

"If you didn't figure it out already, I love you too." He smiled widely at my words. "Then, will you go to the ball with me?"

"I would love to, Draco." With that, he connected our lips to a passionate kiss once again.
