"I promise you she'll be better.." A woman with dark blue and teal hair and big white angel wings whispered, she was sitting next to Jake while he was sleeping, she stayed there for some minutes and then left leaving a pair of golden star earrings on Hailey's nightstand
Jake woke up, his eyes were tired of crying, but suddenly something caught his attention, a pair of golden star earrings on Hailey's nightstand "I've never seen those in her room" He took them from the nightstand and went downstairs
"Jake! Oh god, are you okay?" The maid said looking at his tired eyes
Jake nodded and sat on a chair, then he put the earrings on the table "I found these on Hailey's nightstand, I've never seen these before in her bedroom"
"Maybe you could gift them to her when you confess your love to her" She laughed
"Shut up!" He covered his red face with his shirt
Zander giggled "Aw, you like my sister?"
"Aw, you like my friend?" Jake replied really annoyed
Zander looked at him with a death glare "What did you just say?"
"N-nothing" Jake nervously replied
"Good" He left the room
Suddenly Hailey came in
She hugged Jake with her eyes closed "Can we go to the garden..?"
Jake was shocked, he took her on his arms and went to the garden
When they sat down on the green soft grass, Hailey sat in front of him, then she opened her eyes and smiled at Jake
Jake started crying of happiness, he laid on the grass and attached Hailey to his torso "You're beautiful Hailey" He removed her hair and put the golden earring on her "I hope you like them, and I wanted to tell you something.."
"Same... At the count of three" She sighed "One, two, three!"
Both at the same time "I like you!"
Jake "W-wait really?" He started caressing her cheek
"Y-yeah" She got closer to him, it was the perfect position for Jake to steal a kiss from her soft pastel pink lips
Jake softly caressed her cheek and kissed her lips
The kiss got deeper until the king entered the garden "Uh.." He looked at them
"I-its not w-what it l-looks like d-dad" She was nervous
"You're old enough to take your own decisions, and I know that Jake truly loves you and he'll take care of you" He smiled
"Thanks, I'll promise I'll take care of her until I die" Jake said while helping her stand up
The king smiled and left the garden
"I love you Jake" She smiled and wrapped her arms around his neck
"I love you too my beautiful princess" He kissed her lips and grabbed her waist
Now in the present
"So that's dad's and mom's story"
"Wow! Mommy was beautiful as now?" Their daughter Melody said amazed
Jake nodded "Mhm" He said while smiling
"How are my angels doing?" She giggled
"Your story was amazing mom!" Melody exclaimed really excited
"Thanks, sweetheart" Hailey answered and kissed her forehead
"But how did you recover?" Melody asked
"I still don't know, I could hear all the doctors talk and some of the shout my name, I fell asleep but before I fell asleep I saw a beautiful woman with dark blue and teal hair looking at me smiling" Hailey replied to Melody
"Wow... Maybe she was an angel? or a queen!" Melody said really excited
"Maybe" Jake said while caressing her shoulder
