I moved intothe compound with my dad just over a month ago and honestly I loveit, before me and my dad had been cramped into a little apartmentthat despite being small got really lonely when he was away onmissions. I've known who my dad was for about two years but we onlyreally got a year of bonding in, I'm not complaining though.
The way I metmy dad was hilarious in my opinion, I'm not sure if he agrees or notthough. I was recruited by Mr. stark or uncle Tony to help fight whatwas soon called the civil war, as I was fighting this super cool dudewith a metal arm, the dog tags id had since well forever fell out ofmy suits pockets. I was mad because Tony said those pockets wouldnever drop anything whereas my dad who coincidently was the dude witha metal arm was shocked as his dog tags fell to the floor. It was avery weird moment and I didn't see him again until he appeared at mywindow a year later.
Once aunt Mayfound out id been hiding a super soldier who happened to be my dad inmy room she said we could get our own apartment as long as I kept intouch. I had no problem with that, I loved aunt may even if shewasn't my real aunt.
Now it's a yearlater and I have the best most dysfunctional family in the world andwe were currently eating Uncle Steve famous breakfast pancakes. I wassuper excited for today I was going on a surprise field trip! My dadand Steve had made me the best lunch ever filled with theirhome-made baking and cooking, I didn't know exactly what they madebut I love everything they make so it was undoubtedly mouth watering.
My dad loved todrive me to school on his motorbike but we always had to take extraprecautions, Dad was in full head to toe biker gear including glovesdespite it being way too hot, this was to make sure no one could seewho he was, I also had a blacked out helmet on so no one saw me andasked questions and finally we always parked about a block away fromthe school well other than today. I was late.
Unfortunatelymy friends had seen the bike along with the rest of the class thatwas getting on the bus, it shouldn't be that big a deal I mean it'sonly a bike. Ned was straight away asking questions while MJ was justlistening while reading. My friends knew most things about me butsome stuff I just couldn't tell them, for example they knew I wasspider-man and that I had a dad but they didn't know who my dad wasor that I fully lived with him at the avengers compound.
Flash, theschool bully over heard Ned asking questions about my dad and hisbike so he decided to but in.
"Yeah rightthat was his dad, Parker is just a pathetic orphan. That was probablya random guy who picked him up of the side of the road"
"Go awayflash" MJ stuck up for me. I was just processing the stupidity ofhis comment, why would I ask a stranger on a bike to drive me toschool when with where he thinks I live I could just get the train.Flash was stupid sometimes, well most of the time actually.
<< TIMESKIP BROUGHT TO YOU BY THE BUS RIDE>>
I had blockedout most of the bus ride only sometimes zoning back in to talk to Nedabout Lego, I wish I had been more focused because then I would havebeen more prepared for the nightmare that I found when I got of thebus. Right in front of my face in all its glory was the avengers compound. Also known as stark industries and my home. Why was thisour field trip of all places, I'm so screwed, I hope my familydoesn't know about this.
