Master Plo sat opposite the young girl during the entire trip. Neither of them said much of anything, just occasionally commenting about some ridiculous detail.
After what seemed like an hour of unbearable silence, Arrai spoke. "So," she began awkwardly. "Where exactly are we headed?"
The Jedi Master looked to the front of the ship. The driver was otherwise occupied; he wouldn't listen in on anything. "We are going to a distant planet called Nequek. It's a very special place designed for only a special few."
The girl looked around, clearly expecting more. "And who are these special people?"
The master once again glance toward the front of the ship, for security's sake. "They are people who have a very specific abilities. Few people have them, but you do."
"Does my brother?"
"Yes." He admitted. "But he also has his own set of unique abilities that could prevent the use of these other powers."
Her brain was about to explode. "I'm sorry. I'm going to stop acting like I know exactly what you're talking about. Would you mind considering the idea of possibly entertaining the notion starting from the beginning?"
He laughed. For a kid, she was pretty smart. "There will be time for lots of explanation later. For now, we must focus on the here and now. And that is getting to Nequek alive."

The planet itself was the most beautiful thing ever. It was so... ancient. So old. She could tell them many of these buildings may have been tread upon by some of the first Jedi. The thought was insane, but not crazy. "Wow." Was all she could say.
Temples and gazebos and meditating gardens were everywhere. Everything was covered in a type of red vine that produced blue flowers. The ancient stone mixed with the plants made everything so perfect. This was a dream world. The stuff of legends.
"Do you like it?" Master Plo asked.
She could barely get the words out of her mouth. "I can hardly believe it."
Growing up on a dustball planet, she had never seen much plant life. It was too dry. This was simple amazing.
"Come, young one. We mustn't be late." She followed the master through a massive temple.
"Late for what?" Her curious mind continued taking in everything.
"You are going to meet some people."
When they finally reached the very top of the huge building, two fairly large doors stood informer of them. It eerily resembled the doors that opened to the Council Chambers on at the Jedi Temple at Coruscant. And there was a reason for that.
"Arrai," Plo Koon said. "You are going to meet the standing members of the Council of the Dark Jedi."
And the doors swung open.

"Where exactly is she going, master?" Anakin asked.
Obi-Wan knew he couldn't exactly tell the boy, so he told him what he could. "It's a remote planet far away. Some say it's not even in our galaxy."
"What do you believe about it?"
"I'm not quite certain. Only a few people have ever been there. And those who decide to come back never talk about it. It's an evil little secret."
The master knew a lot about it, actually. But he couldn't say that in front of his padawan. He couldn't say anything about it to anyone. He wasn't even suppose to know. But he did.
"Come one, Anakin." He said. "Let's go find you a proper training lightsaber. You'll be using one of those until you create your own."
