"Sir," the droid said. "I'm not sure I understand."
"Then find me a droid who will!"
"That is not the problem, sir. It's just... it seems unlike any Jedi to do such a thing."
"I understand that. But I am no
Jedi. " The frustrated man began to give up hope with this piece of machinery. "But if the girl is to survive, we must act now.""Please, sir. Let me get permission from the Council and I will be happy to fulfill your orders." The droid's monotoned voice started to annoy.
"No. You will do this, and you will do this now."
"Yes, sir." And it left.
Yes, the man thought. Yes, you will. And with that, he left the room.

"Master," Anakin loved calling Obi Wan that. It made him feel more like a real Jedi. "Are we almost there?" He reclined in the passenger seat, resting his eyes.
"Yes," came happy the reply, even though the padawan had asked a hundred time already. "In fact, we're entering the atmosphere."
"Really?" His voice was suddenly filled with excitement.
"How about you look for yourself? It's rather hard to miss." The master noticed the boy look out at the planet that was one gigantic city.
A few minutes later, they landed at the Temple.
"Master Kenobi," a greeting came. "Good to see you again."
The new master turned around to see Master Windu. "Master." Obi-Wan greeted. "I'm still getting used to being called 'master.'"
"I understand." He nodded in respect. "Where is your padawan?"
They both looked toward the ship. Anakin was exiting, carrying a small mechanism whose function was yet to be discovered. The young boy finally acknowledged the masters' presence. "Master Windu," he bowed slightly just how his master had showed him. "It's good to see you again." Kenobi rolled his eyes. It didn't take a genius to figure out that the young padawan was lying.
"Likewise." The Jedi Master compensated, feeling the same amount of dread as the padawan. "I have some news for you."
The boy flashed a smile, but quickly regained his composure. "Is it about my sister?"
"Yes. Arrai is doing fine. I'll take you to see her if you want."
"Thank you, master." Anakin was forced to contain his excitement-- and worry.
Master Windu led the way to a secluded room. It was out if the way of the normal hallways and had a quiet section of the temple. "She's in there." He motioned with his hand. "There should be a medical droid present as well."
Anakin looked at his master, who nodded his head. Then he took a deep breath and stepped inside.
Once out of sight, the masters began exchanging conversation. "No one knows what happened, or why." Master Windu explained.
"She just miraculously... began healing?" He summarized. "How is that possible? We all feared for her life. No one thought she would last a week. Yet, she's in there, recovering from a life experience." He put his hand on his chin as he always did when thinking. "It doesn't add up."
"Yes. We've evaluated every possible scenario, but this wasn't in the cards." Windu admitted
"Every droid, every healer, every Jedi said the same. She, and forgive me for saying this, she shouldn't be alive. She should be dead." Kenobi said.
"We shouldn't tell that to her brother. Or..." he trailed off.
"Or what?"
Master Windu sighed. "The dark side surrounds her recovery." He paused. "I have a feeling someone did something to fix her. But why they did, or how they did that, is unknown."
"That can't be good." Master Kenobi agreed. "But who could want her alive? And why?"
The Jedi looked at the ground, clearly lost in thought. "There are so many unanswered questions. But here isthe big one: what do we do?"
They stood there in silence for a while. "We must treat her like every other Jedi. She is a living being. And being Force-sensictive, we have no right not to train her." Obi-Wan decided.
The other master pondered this. "You are correct. But she cannot be the normal Jedi we want her to be." He emphasized the word carefully.
"Are you suggesting..." Kenobi asked, shocked.
"Yes. I am." He let that hang in the air.
Silence.
"If we are in agreement, then I must alert the council." Master Windu said. "I know you are not necessarily on board with the idea, but what other option do we have? For all we know, Arrai could have healed herself sub-consciously. Power like that... she must do this."
"You're right. I'm not fond with the idea, but I do believe it is for the best." He admitted. "But what do we tell Anakin?"
"The usual. They'll get to say goodbye. We'll say she's going for special training, which isn't entirely false, then just wait till the whole thing blows over."
Obi-Wan sighed. "It's not that simple. They have a unique connection. You know how powerful they both are, and when they're together, they seem limitless." He took a breath. "It won't be easy. And their power will only grow."
