So, someone swore in the comments and insulted me. I will update on the 18 of December because I don't know how many of you read the "The Beginning and Ending of Everything" story part, but it had the timeline, necessary info, and rules in it. Like this one: So, the rule. So I don't particularly appreciate cussing, but I know that the Avengers do it, and I think Percy does too, so not to take away from their personalities, I will do some symbols or something. You'll know. If you swear in the comments or plagiarize in any way, I will call you out on it in the next chapter after you do it and wait an extra week before I update again! Don't think that I'm joking; I've done it two or three times already. Constructive criticism is welcome. Have a good day.
I hate to do this to the people who just want to read a story. But I am very serious about this, and I need to make sure people understand that it's not okay. Don't insult people.
I had a teacher once who told my class a story. My teacher said that when she was in school, she smiled at a girl that she didn't really know.
Later on, the girl told my teacher, "Thank you so much. That day that you smiled at me saved my life. I was planning on killing myself that day, but you smiling at me gave me hope."
Kindness goes a long way. But so does unkindness. Being rude to someone, insulting someone, that could be the thing that pushes them over the edge. Someone who is depressed, suicidal, lonely, an outcast, heck, even someone you would think normal, it could be the last straw for them. You don't know what they are going through at the moment.
"The Girl you just called fat? She is overdosing on diet pills. The Girl you just called ugly? She spends hours putting makeup on, hoping people will like her. The Boy you just tripped? He is abused enough at home. See that man with the ugly scars? He fought for our country. That guy you just made fun of for crying? His mother is dying. Put this on your status for an hour if you are against bullying. You never know what it's like until you walk a mile in their shoes."
If it stops you from insulting someone else once, insult me twice. If you are going to be rude to someone, take it out on me instead. I don't care what you think of me, but some people depend on others for how much they deem their worth is.
And let me tell you something. You. Are. Worth. Everything. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
Even those that insult me. You are precious, of infinite worth. Thank you for that valuable information, but I'm pretty sure that I'm fine without having talked to you in the first place. If you want to talk, to just have someone to talk to, tell me. Don't insult—me or anyone. Just talking to someone about it can make it way easier.
When my great-grandmother died, I messaged a friend on Wattpad.
If there is no one to talk to, write it down. You can save it, rip it, or even burn it if you want to. Don't bottle it up. If someone insults you, ignore them. It's not true. If you believe it to be, you are only giving them power. And that's what they want. To get under your skin. So if someone insults you, I say, screw them. You're the important one. They are too, but you come first.
I hope you remember something I said today. Or don't. I don't care.
Love you guys!
Stay safe, readers!
Ryan out. *Salute*
