[5th hour, the counselor was in the classroom showing a video about neglect and abuse]

"so everyone, if you need help don't be afraid to reach out if..." the counselor's voice trailed off as jisung's head became louder as the flashbacks came rushing to him.

[flashback]

"you think you can get away with that, little shit?!" jisung's father paused, his palm making contact with jisung's cheek. "by now i thought you'd know better than to try to run away."

"i-i.." jisung stuttered, his cheek now bleeding a little from the hard impact.

"that's what i thought. you're nothing but a disappointment." jisung's father glared down at the small jisung that was now sitting on the floor, his head in his knees. "for your punishment you will not be eating for the next 3 days and won't be allowed to go upstairs for the usual 30 minutes."

"b-but th-"

"i don't care if it's 'not fair'. you should know better than to try and run away," he paused, glaring harder at jisung, who was still on the floor. "if you ever went to the police, you would be put in foster care. and you don't want that, correct?" jisung's father raised his eyebrow as the little jisung looked up at him.

jisung just sat there, glaring harder at him.

jisung saw his dad walk up the stairs. as soon as he closed the basement door, he began to softly cry.

[end of flashback]

"jisung."

"..."

"jisung!"

"o-oh, sorry miss..." jisung said as he wiped away the tears he didn't know were even streaming down his face. "may i step out for a minute please..?"

"yes, go right ahead." the counselor said softly, walking back up to the front of the classroom and continued teaching.

after hearing confirmation, jisung got up and speed walked out of the classroom. he hit the lockers with his back, sliding down the lockers with his hands covering his face.

"j-jisung? are you okay..?" minho said softly as he stepped out of the classroom and kneeled in front of the younger.

"i just had a bad flashback.." jisung stated, slowly lifting his head to look at the older.

"do you need to leave school?" minho asked, softly looking at the younger.

"n-no.. i'll be fine," jisung lifted his arms up, hugging the older. "thank you, min."

"you're welcome.." minho said, hugging the younger back. he softly sighed in relief.

the rest of the day was pretty normal, jisung only having a couple flashbacks.
