The Makeover Consequences

Chapter 4

We're finally at our destination yay! The fun will slowly build from here on. I don't know much about Emily so I'm not adding the tension between her and Penny.

The drive was uneventful and they made it with 5 minutes to spare. Howard got a text from Raj he and Emily were running late due to an accident slowing traffic.

"Raj said we should just head in so we don't lose our table and he texted me their food orders." Howard said waving his phone.

"At least he had the forethought to do that, I hate being off schedule!" Sheldon huffed.

"You don't say." Penny said sarcastically. While pushing past him and dragging Leonard inside.

The rest followed as the hostess was leading Penny and Leonard to the table.

"Enjoy your evening, the waiter will be with you shortly." the hostess kindly replied.

"I'm surprised you're not complaining about anything Sheldon." Penny said.

"Don't try to get him started Penny, tonight is supposed to be fun!" Leonard whined.

"Alright, alright, sorry I forgot!" Penny hastily replied. While studying the extensive wine list before the actual menu.

"I researched this establishment quite extensively, and it passed my standards plus they earned an "A" from the Health Department." Sheldon casually answered.

"Of course you did." Howard replied while rolling his eyes.

"Well why wouldn't I? I didn't want me or Amy to get food poisoning! I don't care what anyone says there can be harm in trying new things." Sheldon states while perusing the menu. 

Amy smiled behind her menu 'he's being surprisingly sweet tonight. Perhaps if nothing goes wrong I can get him to dance with me?' Amy thought while deciding on their famous Ropa Vieja.

The waiter came and took their orders, then returned with their drinks and two bottles of wine. Raj and Emily arrived soon after.

"Sorry for being late guys." Raj said apologetically. "Everyone this is Emily. Emily these are my friends Howard and his wife Bernadette, Leonard and his girlfriend Penny, Sheldon and his girlfriend Amy." Raj introduced.

"It's great to finally meet you, Raj has told me so much about all of you." Emily replied humor clearly in her eyes.

"Nice to meet you." the gang replied. The group made small talk and got to learn more about Emily, until their food arrived and Sheldon was pleasantly surprised the food was delicious. 

"Okay, who's up for hitting the bar and doing some dancing?!" Penny said enthusiastically she already had a slight buzz going on.

I really wanna get the rest right, so next update may be a longer wait? I'll try to make it worth it though. Thanks for your patience and reviews if you have any ideas let me know I might add them! :-P
