REBORN (ON HOLD)

Chapter 11

Once a day Hermione sees Regulus sitting beside a  lake.

" It is the right time to approach Regulus", Hermione thought.

" Hello, may I sit here ", Hermione asked him.

He didn't reply so Hermione sat there.

" Hermione Potter ", Hermione said, extending her hand.

He ignored her again.

"You know it's really rude to ignore someone. At least tell me your name ", Hermione said whispering.

"Regulus Black. Now happy .", He said with sarcasm.

"Can you please leave me alone", he said and again started to ignore her.

"Okay, fine I am going. we will meet soon, bye", Hermione said and went from there. 

Everything was going fine. Many people had joined the Order. The Order was able to help many people due to the diary given by Hermione.

The second-year also passes like this.

Hermione was back home with her brother. This time also James' friends came to live with them. Hermione had invited Lily and Severus also. One day Hermione's parents speak with marauders.

" James, Sirius, Remus, Peter, we had a meeting with the headmaster. He told us that you guys bully your classmate Severus. Please explain this to me .", Mr Potter said with seriousness.

" We were not bullying him. We were just pulling a prank .", James argues.

" If a prank hurts someone emotionally and physically then it is called bullying, James .", His mother explained to them.

"But.", " No but James, we have not taught you to hurt someone. It is not your age to make enemies. Instead of making enemies learn to make friends. Enjoy your time at Hogwarts and let others enjoy it also. Don't make someone's Hogwarts experience horrible.", Mr Potter said, cutting James.

" If you guys ever hurt someone again then I will be forced to inform your families about it and James, we don't want to punish you so behave yourself. And Hermione had invited Severus also. So when he came here, all of you are going to apologise to him .", Mr Potter said strictly.

"Am I understood ?", Mr Potter said sternly.

"Yes dad, yes uncle", James, Remus, Peter, and Sirius said together while looking towards the floor.

" All of you can go now", Mrs Potter said.

"How can  dad ask us to apologise to that Snape", James said angrily. Sirius supports James in this. Remus and Peter see each other.

" I think what uncle said is right. We should not have hurt Severus like this. We should not be making enemies. We should apologise to Severus and leave our Enmity behind.", Peter said his thoughts with confidence. Peter had changed very much. Now he has become very confident and he is now not afraid to tell his friends his opinion.

" I also agree with Peter,'' Remus said, supporting him.

Finally, after lots of arguments and discussions, they decided to ask forgiveness from Severus and leave their Enmity behind.

One week later, Severus along with Lily came to meet Hermione. 

" Lily, Severus please come inside ", Hermione said, greeting them. After that Hermione took them to meet her parents.

" Mom, dad. Meet my friends, Lily Evans and Severus Snape.", Hermione said happily introducing them.

" Hello, Mr and Mrs Potter ", Lily and Severus Said.

" Hello Lily, hello Severus. It's really good to meet you guys.", Mrs Potter said.

Hermione, Lily and Severus were inside Hermione's room when someone knocked on the door. Hermione goes to open the door.

" What are you guys doing here ", Hermione asked marauders.

" We want to talk to Sn-,I mean Severus", Sirius said. 

" Ok, come in", Hermione said.

" Severus, they want to talk to you", Hermione said to Severus.

" Me ?", Severus asked, feeling confused.

" Yes, we want to talk to you ", Remus said.

" Ok,talk",he said.

"We want to...we want ..to", James said, stuttering.

" We want to what?.say clearly,'' Severus said, feeling annoyed.

" Wait, I am saying. We want to apologise to you for hurting you.", James said mumbling.

" Sorry? Are you guys serious?", Severus asked while looking towards them doubtfully.

"Yes,  we are ashamed of what we did", Sirius said.

" We want to leave our Enmity behind", Peter said.

" Please forgive us", Remus said.

Listening to marauders, Hermione was feeling happy. She was happy that they had changed now and enmity between them was finished.

All of them were looking towards Severus and waiting for him to say something.

"  I am ready to accept your apology", Severus said to them.

"Thank you ", marauders said and went from there.

" We are proud of you, Severus. Not everyone has the courage to forgive someone", Hermione said and both Lily and Hermione hugged him.
