Chapter 4

On September 1, Hermione with her family goes to London King's Cross Station to go to Hogwarts through Hogwarts express.

"Hermione, James please take care of each other. Write us a letter about your sorting. Enjoy your journey and don't fight with other students, especially you James", their mom said to them feeling nervous as well as excited.

" I know mom, now please let me go. My friend is waiting for me.", James said.

"Have you already made a friend? when? ", his mom asked.

" I met him at Diagon Alley when dad took me to buy my owl snow. Now let me go. bye mom, bye dad", James replied while running towards the Hogwarts express.

"Goodbye, Take care ", his parents Mr and Mrs Potter reply.

"This boy", Mrs Potter said with disappointment.

"Hermione, you know your brother is a little immature so please keep an eye on him also and take care of yourself ", her father said smiling.

Hermione nodded her head.

"Bye mom, dad", Hermione said while leaving.

"Bye Hermione and don't forget to write letters. see you on Christmas holidays", her mother said slightly shouting.

Hermione enters the train and starts to find an empty compartment. Finally, She found a compartment and sat there. She started to read her book. Suddenly the gate of the compartment opened and a girl and boy came inside. They were Lily Evans/ Potter and Severus Snape.

"If you don't mind, can we sit here ", Lily said.

" sure", Hermione replies.

Lily and Severus sit there.

"Hello, I am Lily Evans and he is my friend Severus Snape.", Lily said.

"Hello, Hermione Potter", Hermione said, nodding her head.

" Are u related to that brat James Potter? ", Severus asked arrogantly.

" That brat is my twin brother. What happened? He did something? " Hermione asked worriedly.

" He was very rude to Severus when Severus said he is going to sort into Slytherin house.", Lily said.

"Don't mind him. He is a little immature,'' Hermione said with disappointment.

After that Hermione and Lily start to talk with each other while Severus is quiet and listens to them and answers Lily from time to time.

"I think we should change our dress, we are about to reach ", Hermione said.

After some time they reach there and Hagrid comes there to pick up first-year students.

Hermione sees James coming towards her with Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, Peter Pettigrew, the future marauders. Lily and Severus move forward leaving Hermione there, seeing James coming.

"Hermione met them, they are my friends, Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, Peter Pettigrew and she is Hermione Potter, my twin sister.", James said introducing them.

"The first year came forward, move towards the boat", Hagrid announced.

All first-years start to move towards boats.

Hermione sits with Lily and Severus in the boat.

The boat started to move.

After some time, Lily said with excitement," Beautiful, Severus look we are going to live in a castle. I am excited ". Severus's eyes were also shining with excitement.

Hermione looked forward and saw Hogwarts, looking magnifying. She was feeling the same excitement she felt when she saw Hogwarts for the first time.
