Hermione and James were about two years old when James showed accidental magic for the first time. Hermione doesn't want to be in the limelight so she decides to show herself less powerful and intelligent in front of everyone. So she doesn't show her magic for some time. Here her parents were worried about her not showing accidental magic.
Hermione listens to her parents' conversation.
"I am getting worried about Hermione ", her mother said.
"I know she has not shown accidental magic but that doesn't mean she is not magical. Have patience, she will show magic ." her father replied.
After a week Hermione first showed her magic. She made her toy fly.
"See I already told u Hermione will show her magic . ", her father said to her mother, smiling.
"Yes, you were right ", her mother happily replied.

Now Hermione and James both are eleven years old. Today they are expecting their Hogwarts letter. James is overexcited from morning while Hermione is calm and thinking about the future and her job in Hogwarts to stop the war.
" Mom why aren't letters coming. I am feeling nervous now. They will send letters right?"James asked his mother.
James calms down. They will send letters. Look at Hermione, how calm is she and look at you .", his mother replied calmly.
"Hermione, how are u so calm? James asks Hermione with nervous expressions.
"No need to be nervous. We will go to Hogwarts for sure. Don't worry ", Hermione replies to him with no expressions.
At the same time, two owls come there to deliver the Hogwarts acceptance letter for Hermione and James. Seeing them James jumps with happiness. He quickly opens the letter and reads it meanwhile Hermione also reads her letter.
" Mom, Mom see our letters came", James said happily
" I know James and next week we will go to Diagon Alley to buy school stuff for u and Hermione ", their mother said while looking at both of them.
" Yes Mom", Hermione and James reply.
Next week Hermione, her mother and James go to Diagon Alley.
" Hermione, James, firstly we will go to buy a wand for both of you at Ollivanders", their mother said.
"okay ", they reply.
Potters enter the shop.
"Good evening, Mrs Potter,'' Ollivander said.
" Good evening, we want to buy wands for my son and daughter. They are Starting Hogwarts this year.", she said.
" Please come forward, Mr Potter ", Ollivander said to James.
"Please try this wand, Made of resin, this wand measures approximately 15 inches long.", he said to James.
James picks the wand and tries it. Some wands fall from its shelf due to the wand's movement. James has shocked expressions.
" No, not this one. Let me see, yes this one may be right and 11 inches in length and made of mahogany, try this one ", Ollivander said.
James moves the wand and a small light comes from the end.
"This is the one," James said with excitement.
"Now, Miss Potter please u came forward," Ollivander said to Hermione.
"Please pick this wand, Miss Potter,
The wand was 11" long, made of holly, and possessed a phoenix feather core", Ollivander said
This one was Harry's wand. Seeing this wand she felt emotional. She picked the wand and moved it due to which windows got broken. Hermione put the wand back.
" Please, try this one. The wand was 10" long, made of vine wood, and possessed a dragon heartstring core.,"Ollivander said, handing Hermione the wand.
This one was the same one Hermione used in her past life. By picking her she felt the same warmth she felt back then. Hermione was happy by getting her old wand. She felt connected with her past life through this wand.
After getting wands, they left the shop to buy books.
