I shift in my sleep, something on my lower half is bothering me. I slowly open my eyes to see what is wrong when I notice two blue-grey eyes looking straight to me. Jo is sitting next to me on my bed and her hand is caressing my leg.

When I told that to Jo, she laughed so hard. She told me that my former self never read them and that she was proud of me for trying.

I haven't been mad at Jo since the day she came with the baby. I have had some rough time but never with her. I think that I scared her and the only thought of this makes me want to vomit.

Mum came to visit with Beatrice everyday so I could spend some time with my daughter and learn to know her.

This girl really is something else, she doesn't smile a lot but when she does, it's like the whole room lights up from the innocent smirk. I also noticed that she never looks into someone's eyes, maybe I should talk to Jo about it, she could have vision issues...

Speaking of Jo, Mum told me her parents are to come by tomorrow morning. They are doctors in Australia and they have had a super busy schedule.

They finally took some days off of work to support their daughter and see their grand-daughter.

I think Elisabeth' parents are coming too. Mum told me it would be the first time they were going to see the baby in real life.

Apparently, we couldn't really fly to Australia during our parental leave, then we were too busy to leave the UK as a family and Jo wanted us to go to Perth together. I don't know if they are planning to visit me and I don't know if I'm ready to see them.

"Hero?"

Isabelle calls me once again with her heavy French accent and I turn my head to her so she can see I'll pay attention to what she will say next.
