Chapter 4

Kongpop enters the room with Anu tailing him. He rushed to Beam and motioned May to come near him. He whispers to them what happened earlier in the restroom skipping the kiss part.

May and beam together with kong starts to spread it. Once they finished sharing the instruction for the way to exit, everyone waited cautiously for the 3 knock.

Suddenly the door opened without a knock. Everyone hold their breath in fear thinking they may get caught but a guys strides to Anu nanny who is leaning on the wall weakly.

The 2 guards took her in their hold. Anu runs to them and slapped their hands which is holding her nanny.

"Where are you taking her?" Beam asked coming forward. His voice startled the guard but Beam care less. "She needs medical care so we are taking, Will bring her back in 5 mins" the guards informed them.

Anu told them that she wants to come too. Kongpop shook his head at her quickly. The guards furrows at them because they don't understand what Anu and kong talking.

After his interaction with Anu in sign language kong turned to beam and May and informed that he will accompany Anu.

Both of their eyes widen in fear, they protested at him. May try to convince Anu who is stubborn in her decision. The little girl don't want to leave her nanny alone so she tagged with the guards. Kong told them that time is already running so they have to allow him to accompany Anu and he will be back soon.

Beam told kong that he will accompany her but kong rejected his offer saying that other ladies need him if something went wrong he can help them as he is stronger than girls.

He said he will surely join them before they leaves. Beam and May didn't like kong leaving with Anu but they know they can't change kong mind once the latter decides so they prayed for his safety return after sending Kong with Anu.

The guards took them upstairs, every step makes kong anxious, his heart warned him to run away. The guard leave them outside the door saying Anu granny is inside. He tightly hold Anu hand in his arms. Anu also clings to him like a kola. Kong carefully stepped inside the room after opening the door.

Anu snuggled on kong neck in fear, she is scared that her nightmare will get her again. Kong glanced his surrounding and walks towards the bed to check the nanny who is lying on the center.

Before he touch her, another figure entered while closing the door. Kong turned to check the figure, his breath hitched in shock, his knees already felt weak by the figure presence, he never thought he will face his senior one day who he once thought was a good man.

After that nightmare he gave many thoughts to check if he has mistaken the senior but all clues pointed to the senior as evil who was his saviour once.

"P-Phi.. You didn't drugged me that day right? T-Tell me I had mistaken y-you" kong questioned him forgetting he has to check Anu nanny, forgetting he has Anu in his arms, forgetting he has to get back to Beam, forgetting to ask what is his senior doing here? Kong waited for his answers while holding Anu close to him to get ride of his fear through her warmth.

Jonath walks towards the two of them who is special to him. One is his love, while another one is his brother's baby, after losing his brother all he had is Anu and her mother. He knows he can't lie to kongpop after abandoning him like that so he came clean.

"Yes kong baby, it's me who drugged you.. but i never mean to abandon you that night dear, something happened to my dad that I have to run away without a choice" Jonath confessed to Kong who went on his knees with Anu in his arms. His eyes welled up, Anu sneaked from kong neck to confirm if the familiar voice belongs to her nightmare or not.
