I woke up to the sound of King whining at my feet. "Oh what time is it" I thought to myself as I looked around the room. It was early, the sun had barely come up yet... King did however not stop so I knew I needed to get up. "Okey buddy, I'm just gonna put som clothes on and then we be on our way", he started running around in circles and barking.

I put my workout clothes on and went to the kitchen.
Ough I could feel my empty stomach growling. "I knew I should have eaten something before bed" I thought to my self. I drank some smoothie from the fridge and got ready to run.

As I walked out the door I closed my eyes and just smelled the nature around us. After my dad died a few years ago he had left me and my family alot of money, I chose to buy a house in the English countryside. My life for nature was everything and my songwriting has gone alot better since the move.

My father was a great man, famous writer and some of his books did even become films. I use to come along sometimes to the sets and watch his books come to life, it was amazing!
But the last years he was sick and eventually left us with a hole in our chest.

I could sense that King was getting impatient so I just looked at him and said "Okay buddy, let's go".

I loved running in the morning, I did however smell rain in the air so I figured it wasn't going to be a long one today.

As I was running I looked at the nature all around, it was beautiful here!
Then from out of nowhere the skies opened and rain started to come down like crazy, I looked around and found a big tree, "Come on King, let's wait there " I told King while running over there.

I sat down on the grass by the tree with King and just as a sigh left my lips.

I saw a man running with his dog towards us. He stopped a few paces from us and panted, he looked like he had ran a marathon.
I looked at him as water dripped along his face and our eyes locked, he just looked at me and then our eyes fell to our dogs who had started sniffing each other and went round in circles.
"I'm so sorry to push in but this was the closest shelter we could find from the rain" he said with a embarrassed smile as he looked at me. "Yeah, it really came out of nowhere didn't?" I said with a little laugh, I probably looked like I just had taken a shower as well.

"And who is this beauty? " I asked as his dog went around my legs sniffing and cuddling. "That's Kal and I'm Henry, thank you for letting us in. I could barely see a thing as it started to pour down" he said with a smile.
"Oh, its perfectly alright. I'm just glad King didn't become angry as you ran towards us. He's quite protective of me"  I said as I looked him in the eyes,

He had the most beautiful eyes, it was hard to look away. "And whats you'r name? " Henry asked looking at me with curiosity, "oh I'm so sorry, I'm Jenny" I said as I hold out my hand to him. He took it with a smirk on his lips and stood quiet for a moment, just holdning my hand with his eyes locked in mine. I was getting kind of flushed and I think King sensed that because King pushed us a bit, getting us out of the trans we got stuck in.

"Well, hi Jenny. It's very nice to meet you". Henry said.
We stood there chatting a bit about the weather and how we shared a love for nature while Kal and King was playing and having fun.
When the rain was beginning to calm down I said that it was time for us to get home.

I put the leash on King and just as I started to walk away I turned around, "this was fun, I'll see you around" I said with a smile. " yeah, it was. I truly hope so" he said with a bit of a crooked smile and bright blue eyes.
As we started to pick up the pace again I couldn't help to think of those eyes, those blue beautiful eyes..

-Henry's pov-
I just stood there like a bloody idiot watching her walk away.
She was mesmerising, her piercing blue eyes that I just couldn't help to get drown in. And she was a dog person! As Kal played with King she told me that King was a rescue dog who was supposed to be trained for fighting but they had got to him when he was only 10 months. She trained with him alot and I just loved how she talked about him like he was her family. She had told me she moved  here a few years ago and loved to explore the nature here. She was amazing. I was an idiot, why, WHY did I not ask for her number?!
One thing did however come to mind, it seemed like she didn't recognise me.. in her defence I looked like a wet dog and I did have my cap on but non the less it puzzled me.
I really hope I run into her again..

So this was the first part! Not very long but the next one will hopefully be longer!
