When the world's not in danger isn't a familiar phrase known to Mai and her friends. However, there comes a time when you must step aside and let the younger generation step forward, and that time is now.
"(y/n)." a woman said from behind me, "Sis?!" I said as I turned to face her, "It's good to see you again (y/n)." She said as I hugged her, "Where'd you go?! I was so scared without you!" I cried, "Why? Don't you remember what I told you? I will always be with you, and I will always protect you." she said, suddenly she transformed into Trishula, "You have proven yourself worthy of my power." She said, "And it's time you remember what happened." Lily said as she appeared behind me before she snapped her fingers changing the scenery from an empty void to her apartment. "These are my memories." She said, "Ever since you could talk you've had what I thought was an imaginary friend." She said, "But when I started my pro dueling career your imaginary friend changed for the worst. I asked you to draw her for me once and you said if you did she'd be angry and hurt me." She said as I watched her memories play out, "It only got worse the night before my biggest duel yet. You told me not to worry because Trishula made sure I'd win. When Bandit Kieth didn't show up for our duel I won by default. Hours later I learned that he was hospitalized the day before." She said, "I realized that your imaginary friend wasn't so imaginary after all, and after confronting my toughest opponent yet, I vanished." She said as her final duel played out and her opponent was Mama.
Mai POV
I entered a tournament that (y/n)'s sister was in hoping to find out where she could've gone. I had made it to the semi-finals and beat Joey, "WE HAVE OUR FINALISTS! Our contestants will be Mai Valentine and..." the announcer began to say, "(y/n) Valentine." (y/n) said as he threw off a strange coat and walked over to me, his eyes were glowing red, "Sweetie what are you doing here?!" I asked, "I want a rematch! If I win you will tell me what happened to my sister!" he said angrily, "What are you talking about?! Sweetie this is silly." I said, "Then I take it you're admitting you did something to her!" he said, "Sweetie if it'll make you feel better I'll tell you what I know, but it's not much." I said as he equipped a duel disk.

"Sweetie where'd you get that?! What did I tell you about talking to strangers?!" I said as it finished transforming, "I found it where my sister had her last duel...with you." he said, "To start I play Chamber Dragonmaid in attack mode! Her special ability lets me add one Dragonmaid spell or trap to my hand and I can't think of a better spell than this! Dragonmaid Changeover!" he said, "WHERE DID YOU GET THOSE CARDS?!" I asked, "Now I'll fuse my Dragonmaid Nudyarl with my Laundry Dragonmaid to fusion summon Dragonmaid Sheou!" he said as he fusion summoned his monster.

'Just one more card and I'll have my ultimate combo.' I thought, "I'll summon a monster who's gonna knock some sense into you! Come on out Amazoness Paladin!" Mama said, "No attack that Chamber Dragonmaid!" she said, "I activate Chamber Dragonmaid's effect! At the start of the battle phase, I can return her to my hand and replace her with another level seven or higher Dragonmaid. So welcome back Dragonmaid Nudyarl!" I said, "I end my turn." she said, "I draw!" I said, 'Perfect!' I thought, "This scenery is too dull don't you think? So I'll switch things up with this! My Lair of Darkness field spell! This makes every monster on the field dark type!" I said, "Now I'll bring back Chamber Dragonmaid and add Dragonmaid Welcome to my hand and play it!" I said, "Now thanks to this handy spell my lovely maids gain 100 attack and defense points for each Dragonmaid I control." I said, "I have three so that's three hundred extra points." I said, "Now why stop there? I'll play two more Dragonmaid Welcomes!" I said, "Go Nuduarl attack!" I said as Nudyarl destroyed her Paladin, "I'll end there, I want you to see how much better I am." I said, "I'll draw and play Fusion Sage!" she said, "I activate Shiou's effect! By returning him to my extra deck I can negate your spell and then summon a brand new maid to replace him! So say hello to my favorite maid of all! Say hello to House Dragonmaid!" I said as I summoned my monster.

"I play Amazoness Swords Woman and equip her with Amazoness Heirloom and end my turn!" She said, "I draw." I said, "Now I'll activate Dragonmaid Changeover's effect from my graveyard and return my Chamber Dragonmaid to my hand and add it to my hand. Now House Dragonmaid's effect activates allowing me to destroy your swords woman." I said, "Next I'll play Dragonmaid Changeover and resummon Sheou!" I said, "Now House Dragonmaid finish her! Teatime Twister!" I said as I won the duel.
