Raizo:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~He was touched by Ayaka. She held a warmth that wasn't normal for him to experience. She was smart, attentive, detail oriented. And probably one of the most beautiful things he's ever seen.
And her words from early in the car replay over and over in his mind. She trusted him so much that she would blindly give him her loyalty.He was scared.
He was scared of his new found emotions. And he didn't want her to get hurt but he needed her.
He needed her to get to Europol to track the clan. And tomorrow he could do that by meeting her partner. Raizo knew that Ryan was a male and was a close colleague to her. And for some reason and a reason he'd never voice out loud. Raizo didn't like their relationship. He felt that Ryan couldn't protect her like he could.
Raizo was very touched that she thought about him and made him some food. In reality he wasn't hungry but he didn't want to be rude. And the food was delicious.
Ayaka didn't feel real to him. She was smart, pretty, thoughtful, strong. He felt like something had to be wrong with her.
He asked her about her life because he needed to know. So, if he is still alive after this mission he could make sure she was safe. To be honest she was interesting to him.
Ayaka grew up in a nice town in Chicago. It was very boring as she described it. People never left they just stayed and created a family. But that wasn't her.
She wanted to work for the FBI. She had excellent grades and could piece information together at an early age. She did well in the academy and America. That's why she is in Berlin they transferred her to help Europol.
The cases in Berlin weren't getting solved fast enough nor were they done well. When She came everything improved. Ayaka described herself to Raizo.
Not shy, but she didn't like people. To her they were faulty and annoying. Never were honest and wasted people's time. But she did care for the families and the victims. That's why she did her job. It was for them.
In the car, Raizo felt like he overshared too much with her. It was supposed to be basic information that he would tell her. But the truth came out. For some reason he felt comfortable, maybe even safe with her.
He hasn't felt like that ever since she died. It dawned on Raizo while he listened to her talk. That he liked her. But he knew he would have to leave her.
To him there was no need to make confessions. There was no need to add any more emotions and feelings into such a dangerous situation. So, he settles to keep his crush a secret.
He chastised himself for even asking about her life. The less he knew, the easier it would be to leave. He trusted her though and she had been nothing but truthful. He believed her when she said that she would be by his side in this. Raizo thought she was crazy.
They had just met each other but maybe she felt the same way about him. Raizo didn't think she would share the same type of feelings because of her partner Ryan. She probably likes him and it would be better for her to like him.
"Am I talking too much?" Raizo snapped out of his thoughts.
"No, I was just thinking but I heard everything you said." He didn't like it when she looked directly into his eyes. She could read him and he knew it. But he never looked away.
"Do you have a boyfriend?" He asked. Raizo was hoping she said yes. Because he knew how he would react if she said no.
"Oh hell no, if I don't like people the I don't like men. Don't even get me started. I rather die than deal with their bullshit. And no I'm not gay. Women can bullshit too and I'm not attracted to women."
