Hajime's POV
The next morning the sunlight illuminating the inside of the cabin woke me up. I sat up, looking around some people were up and some were still asleep. I Checked to see if Nagito was awake yet but to my surprise he wasn't in his bed.
I decided to go see if I could find him. So I got ready and left the cabin. I was wondering where he might have gone off to when I heard a familiar voice call my name.
"Hey Hajime"
I turned around and if was my girlfriend. I walked up to her.
"Do you want to go for a walk with me?"
"Sure"
I hadn't spent that much time with her yesterday so I knew I should spend time with her today. We were walking and just having small talk. Although the entire time I found that I really wanted to go find Nagito. I hadn't seen him at all today. I wonder where he went off to...
Nagito's POV
I got up when it was still pretty early in the morning. Its not like I'd be able to sleep anyway. I had a lot of nightmares that prevented me from getting sleep most of the time. So I walked out of the cabin. I was just walking along the beach. I was starting to get tired so I sat down and I was just watching the waves crash and come to the shore only to go back again.
Suddenly I saw someone sit down next to me, it was Hajime.
"Hey, I was looking for you" he said
"Why would you look for trash like me?"
"You're not trash and it's because you're my friend"
When he said that I couldn't help but smile he considered me his friend. I can't believe he would actually want to be friends with me.
We sat there and talked about nothing in particular for a while. Until we realized we should probably get some breakfast so we headed to the dining hall. Hajime got his breakfast and I got a little bit of food I didn't have much of an appetite lately.
Hajime's POV
After I ate breakfast with Nagito I was walking outside by the beach when I ran into Kazuichi. I remembered that I talked to him yesterday. He walked up to me.
"Hey Hajime"
"Hey"
"Wanna hang out?" He asked me
"Sure" I had nothing else to do anyway
We spent time together at the music venue. We hung out for a little while, Kazuichi seems pretty cool. When I realized it was starting to get dark he said
"We should probably head back and get dinner"
"Yeah" I responded as we walked to the dining hall.
